To get PL into tight spots look what I did at the bottom of this post: viewtopic.php?p=263287#p263287 (you have to scroll down a bit)
Inject PL into a medicine syringe you get anywhere they sell cough syrup, then you have a mini caulking gun.

Re: SLA Pro Micro??
IDK what kind of volume levels you need but soft domes are not traditionally used in live sound because they are really fragile. Occasional feedback and the higher uncompressed dynamics of live sound tend to fry domes. I guess if you are using multiples then they would share the load. Just something...

Re: Volt meter question
Again after thought, because this is a tone and not wider frequency source would there be other frequency ie higher frequency affecting the limiter. Again what limiter release settings are others using in the DCX, should it be really short , medium , I would think not long. That's right, you are us...

Re: Volt meter question
I believe I'm high passing at 50 , is that to close to the tone I'm using to set it up. That would be the issue, too close and already on the curve and the higher freq are already engaged in the limiter. Anyways why 50hz? IIRC The t24 and T39 are good to 45 hz. A lot of modern Dance/hiphop lives ri...

one weekend event (that happened to be run off my generator). I couldn't get any volume (not like it should have been, and not as loud as I could get when I tested at home. I thought it was a bad unit, so I sent it back to the store. You won't get any power from it (nx6000) on a generator because o...

Re: Contemplating new lights
Being an old incandescent kinda guy since the 80's, if I need to light up faces on stage, I still tend do that the old way with Par 56 and (usually) a Lee brushed silk (228) because it only diffuses in one direction, or opal frost (410), nowadays via a DMX 4 channel dimmer. Very handy to know I cou...

Re: Contemplating new lights
If you DO set off the alarm by accident, you can call either your local non-emergency number, or even 911 if you don't know it, and advise them of the cause. You'll still get an in person response, but a much smaller one. Had to do that last Friday! Unplugged the machine and then an hour later the ...

Re: Contemplating new lights
it only matters for white light (which LED parcans are not good at anyway)... If you have rgbw par lights and want an almost perfect old school tungsten halogen glow for front wash band lighting, then 806 Lee Zircon warm amber 2 gels are like magic! They do however mess up some of the rgb colors bu...

Re: Contemplating new lights
Bubble machines with a light strobing up high facing down is even cooler! However cool bubble machines are, use them in small doses, prolonged use (over 45 seconds) puts down soapy water on the dancefloor and makes for a skating rink. If you have a crowd underneath the machine you can usually let it...
