Re: What's to chat about?
Ohhhhh, that would not be a situation that I would want to be in. Actually, not for any of the role players in the scenario you presented. What I mean is that I would not want to be the one that: is fired : is doing the firing : is the replacement : is sorting out the mess Hopefully, everything will...

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
Would it help jimbo7 if he installed a chunk or two of 2x4 to take up some space in the driver chamber?

If you've got a photo of you wearing lederhosen, I gotta see that! Post it up! I want to issue this warning......what you are about to see may be disturbing to many viewers. Discretion is advised. And the blame is squarely on Seth, since he asked for it. . . I think this is from 2021.......click on...

Hi Pryor! Welcome to the forum!
Nice looking cabs you have there. Good to hear that the SQ and performance are appreciated.

Re: Truck Tuba first impressions….
PTCary, thanks for your review! When I first got my AT going, I used an off-spec 8" auto door speaker, and was pleasantly surprised. After a few months, I got the MCM driver and an Alpine 150w sub amp and was thrilled. Hopefully, you will get to enjoy your TT for a long time!

Re: Finally! Omni 12 Tall Boy build
The next request wàs Michael Jackson Thriller and as I turned it up to about 7 it started for lack of a better term chopping the sound, maybe oscillating on off of the playback. Have you tried to replicate this on another device(not the sweep, though)? This would test your phone for being the probl...

Re: DR build questions
Thanks Keryn and Grant!
I made that pair of DR250s on the hood of a retired Volvo 240 in my backyard, probably 10 years ago or more, with a cruddy circular saw. The back filler panel has a bunch of Bondo to fill in the gaps.

Re: DR build questions
Here is the photo, as promised. I like the handles on the back because it makes it easier to handle, and to put on a stand. The handles give more options in how to hold the cabinet. The Speakons are in parallel.

Re: Maximum horn
Reading along with a big shit eating grin on my face, trying to contain the emotions welling up from within, like the final hero scene of a Disney film. When, as a man, you don't want anyone else in the room/theater to know your emotions have been stirred the least... and a little something escapes...

Re: DR build questions
Can a single vertical routed hand hold be used on the front of the cab, at the front of the horn towards the bottom? I did what Grant said about a partial fill in the back on my DR250s. That is where I put the Speakons, and where I put upper and lower handholds....I find it quite handy that way.
