Re: Another OT12 build
I finished my OTOP12's last weekend. I will be running the pair on top of two T39's at shows we provide FOH. I am completely blown away how they sound! Anticipation accumulated during the entire build "I sure hope these sound as good as everyone that's used them says they do". Trust me......

I hope you told them that a beta 12 is a very expensive driver!!

Re: Newbie from Colorado
Hi and welcome to the forum :) I just gonna throw this out there. Forget the Omni 15 TB. It is large enough to be troublesome pack space wise, and you might find it difficult to lift by yourself (if you want to place it on a stand. Before you proceed, think perhaps about a pair of Jack 15's instead...

Welcome to the forum! Let the sun shine and start BBQ'íng! :) Nomatter what kind of speakers you're building, don't forget to think about how you're going to place them. People absorb sound so it's nice if you can place your (top)speakers high enough so the sound can travel above people. That way ev...

Re: Maslow CNC good enough? (or what CNC machine do you use)
I might not be extremely accurate, but a tablesaw isn't either.  The first part of your sentence explains why you believe the second part. A table saw performs perfectly as long as the person setting it up (extremely important) and the person using it knows what they ...

Re: Maslow CNC good enough? (or what CNC machine do you use)
A friend a my has a 60 x 90 cm CNC router. Good for wedges and DR's! To small for subs... I've always wanted a CNC router that can cut full-sheets. It might not be extremely accurate, but a tablesaw isn't either. I ordered a place on the order list for 1$ :) Let's see what it brings. I can always sa...

It's hard to believe that they will be better. There's a 450,- CP-driver in those spektrix but when the time is there we will setup them next to each other and let you know the results.
Thanks everybody. We will think over everything.

Haha, sorry for my English. I know that the room will effect sound. But what I ment was that in a small cafe we won't bother using EQ. People don't care about it there. But of course we will use our ears and measuring mic at more serious places. We are very pity about lights and sound :) We don't wa...

Hello, My Name is Martijn. I'm from the Netherlands. Together with my girlfriend we started a company to go after our dreams. Sound video and lights for bands and dance. We design stages, setup everything from movingheads to speakers. And when it's getting dark we know how to deal with a Grandma 2 o...

Re: Haunted House Multi-Room set up
If you are using pre-recorded sounds, then you can use a high-pass filter on it. Just using free software like audacity. Maybe 'goodwill' or other cheap speakers will do then. You can even lower the volume, to loud enough. That way you create some kind of limiting. It won't cost you anything, accept...
