If it lasts that long I'd spray the whole thing. Better than asphalt sealer :)

I do mask mine. Maybe not necessary. Sand again with 220g wet or dry. Then spray with flat or satin black. It will look great.

You'd better hope it's just eyes. For your sanity.

It's a 3/4 cut, 1/4 shank bit. I was cutting 1/2 bb in one pass. I had it in my cheapie B&D plunge router, supposed to be 1 3/4 hp. My jasper jig is mounted on my good Bosch 3 1/4 hp. I'll swap that out. Too much cut, too fast, not enough machine all make sense. The bosch will also take 1/2 shan...

Router Tips

No, I don't have any, I'm looking for them. I used my pattern following bit to make some cutouts. I haven't used it much before. It really chattered the edge of the cut. I was looking for a nice smooth cut. Fixed it with a rasp. I adjusted the speed up but it didn't' seem to help. Suggestions? A tec...

Avoid the spike style. What always happens to me is one of the spikes doesn't drive and flattens. Here's the best way I've found to install the hurricane nuts. Put a dab of epoxy on the nut. Use a hex head cap screw with a fender washer. Put it through the hole, start it on the tee nut. Spin the nut...

Re: the "2 250s per side Club" is adding more memb

Not as drastic, since doubling cabs lowers the line array function by an octave, while less than a doubling doesn't do as much. But it does keep getting better. So what is the approx cutoff of the coupling, and does going to stack of 4  drop it by an octave again? I'm sure there's a point of...

Higher pressure, smaller tip size for a nice lightly pebbled finish, over the original formula . Bigger nozzle for larger lumps, more like ceiling texture.

Welcome to the club 8)

I know it's line array physics in action, but the difference is astounding.

Even for the small gigs I always take 4. You can always turn it down.

My 28 year old B&D Router still works like a champ and is my favorite. My 24 Year old Skil Belt Sander still cranks it out. B&D back inthe day. Those tools are all now yellow. IMO they haven't made a tool worth owning since Makita/Ryobi knocked them off the shelves at the hardware stores/lu...

The reason you see so many contractors using Dewalt is when the transition to B&D was finished, they passed tools out like candy at Halloween. Good marketing ploy. Most of the line is a decent commercial/contractor tool. They are not really industrial grad. There's really 3 lines of tools, crap,...
