My next suggestion would've been this:

Re: T45 stack

However when constructing the 2nd box, I realized I forgot to add the internal braces (not the visible ones) on the first box. https://i.stack.imgur.com/jiFfM.jpg All of the internal braces? Bryan’s idea would work, but I’d honestly suggest cutting off one whole side as close as you can to the side...

Re: Bryan's SLA Pro Build

I'm building two T39 slims. 15" wide, loaded with BP102. I think this'll be more than enough for his 30' x 40' shop. https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-SPA500DSP-500W-Subwoofer-Plate-Amplifier-with-DSP-300-8012 https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0c/57/c2/0c57c239e1e66c0e7e6ffad1435d918f.jp...

I feel like I'm usually the a$$hole when I respond to questions. I've probably deleted more replies than submitted (on all other forums, too). Some people just can't be helped, and few are worth my time.

Re: Bryan's SLA Pro Build

Key point tonight...the SLAP plans say there are half- moon cutouts for the tweeter barrels but provide no dimensions. If using the Goldwoods, the diameter for that hole is 2 1/4". I'll be cutting that out with a hole saw and finishing it with the jig saw. It's been a minute, but I believe I d...

One thing... I'm going to post pics of the crossover I built for this center. All three look just like this one but I'm second guessing myself as I've never built a crossover. I just wanted to make sure I did everything right. Thanks in advance for taking a look! It's kinda hard to follow but it lo...

Re: T45 stack

A simple handheld router and circle jig has made all of the baffle cut-outs that I've done.... I started with a jigsaw (with copious amounts of sanding) then the garage sale router and homemade circle jig. But when a friend built a cnc router table, we made templates of every cut that isn't a line ...

Re: T45 stack

Rub some PL on it and it'll be fine.

If you have access to a CNC, why not make some router templates? Makes builds way faster, easier and consistent. If I made 8 of anything by hand, the first would look terrible and the eighth would look decent.

Re: Working on new build, need amp advice

I agree with everything above. I started on a kool-aid and ramen noodle budget with a bp102 t24, 12" tops and old iron amp with radio-shack quality mixer (setting voltage with a meter and putting tape at the max levels ). It worked fine for house parties till I could afford to upgrade a ...

Re: Genral Crossover Understanding

Read this: http://www.bcae1.com/xoorder.htm Crossover calculators give a starting point, but they assume an exact resistive load, so I always test and tweak as required to come up with the best component values. If you could just post a great link to every question we ask here, just think of all th...
