adding reverb & effects

Hello all,
I have a behringer 1002B mixer. I use it to do a little karaoke and I was wanting to add some effects like reverb. What options do I have? Or do I need to replace it with one that has effects built in.

Thanks in advance,

Oscar

Re: Speaker wire

Hello rotebass, Yes, the reason I need to run it overhead is due to there being a high traffic area between the place where I setup and the speaker location. After the parade starts and everyone is seated it would not be a problem, but we have to setup early and I find it better to get it up out of ...

Re: Speaker wire

There may have been a sharp edge, but it was mainly tears where the wire was pulled and streached. I will look into ProGrade wire. If it is not too costly. If it is I just thought of running a guide rope and then zip tie the cable to it.

Thank you Frederic for the quick reply,

Speaker wire

Hello all, Last year I setup my small PA to MC a parade. I had to run one of the speaker wires overhead about 25'. After I noticed that the rubber sheath had ripped in a few places. The wire was still ok so I just repaired it with electrical tape and it was still functional. I don't my wire will las...

Re: Behringer 1002B Mixer question

Just received a reply from GTD Audio. XLR outputs are mic level. So that explains the low input level into the Mixer. Will be changing 1/4" TRS for XLR.

thanks for all your help,

Re: Behringer 1002B Mixer question

Thanks for the reply bruce, The wireless receiver has two XLR individual outputs and one 1/4" Mixed output. I just found this: "Microphone level is generally significantly lower than line level. Depending upon the microphone and the sound pressure level (SPL) injected into the microphone, ...

Re: Generator

A 5000 watt generator should be able to run 41 amps. watts / volts = amp. The XTI 4000 draws 10.5 amps, Mackie's show 300 watts= 2.5 amps each. If your generator was not able to run all of them then I think your genset may have some issues. I would try another genset. Look up the specs on your gear ...
