Re: High Pass Filter Test
I did a test like this. Set limiter with 60hz signal to 53V. Then played a 22.5hz signal. voltage was very, very low, but I don't think the limit light was on. (Cant remember as I did this last night). But, then I turned up the gain on the 22.5hz signal and maxed out my board and was able to get to...

Re: Amp with no power ins?
The way it can suck juice during quiet passages (and loud ones) is by lowering the impedance to draw lots of current but the unit is also current limited to prevent the head unit from sensing a short and going into protect mode. Ok so it lowers the impedance to draw more power. Essentially the same...

Re: Amp with no power ins?
Its a marine amplifier, not for cars. Thus everything is protected and all the inputs and outputs are probably routed through the common watertight connection. Yes it has a power input, you can't get something for nothing. If it didn't, it couldn't rightfully be called an "amplifier". If y...

Re: Wireless router blues
Wireless sucks. My router is affected when the microwave is turned on, when the wireless mics are in use, and basically any sort of electronic or man made disturbance.

Just looking at the pictures, its hard to believe much weight would be saved. Must also take twice as long to build.
I appreciate the complexity and craftsmanship of it all, though.

Jurrasic Park sound test
gA4PlwSKj8A I know this is old news for many of you, but; In the spirit of the old Jurassic park as well as the new one, here's an audio test. It's been available since the first movie. Sounds great on my HT horn though. If you're using say Titans you won't hear much before 30 seconds into the clip...

Re: $$ No way HoesAye $$ Honda generator EU models VS costco powerstroke6500
The Costco generator should have plenty of power, but I doubt it will be anywhere near as quiet as the Honda EU's even though it does have a honda engine. You'd need 2 EU3000's to equal the power and the you'd pay dearly for it, probably 4x as much. With the setup you have, you can easily drown out ...

Why wait till the end of May? Where did you order them? There are several brand new prolites in stock now on Ebay. Might wanna just send them a message before you buy confirming immediate availability just to be sure.

Re: Modded Table Tuba Idea. Good or Bad? Suggestions?
A T-39 (pro sound) works just as well if not better than an AT in car. Trust me, I've tried it. You would need to have an auto amp that delivers decent power into a 10 ohm load, however. Usually this involves bridging a lower power car amp, just make sure it doesn't exceed voltage limits.

Re: Okay you DJ Gurus
You can jack a hard drive or flash stick directly into that mixer, but how are you going to search for specific songs or mix songs together using that mixer? Doesn't seem like the solution. I have used before a Numark NDX 400. It has USB jack and flash stick, just RCA it to a mixer. Works but the so...

Re: New Amp's for 4-DR250's & 4-T39's
Still looking for confirmation that an IPR2 3000 is a good choice for 4 Tuba 30's. Or would you recommend anything else in that price range (happy to go heavy-old-iron too...) At 840 watts per channel, assuming that you are using the premium drivers and you want to go low (based on the fact that yo...

Re: New Amp's for 4-DR250's & 4-T39's
What I'm not sure about is current draw: How many amps will I be drawing at the wall? Is it 12.5 amps total or is it 2 x 12.5 amps? If it's the latter, that doesn't sound like it'll work with a normal UK wall plug with 13 amp fuse. Don't you guys use 230 Volt power? If so the amps will be well with...

The most important thing everyone will tell you is to follow the directions.mikeocean wrote:if I follow the directions
Adding another 4 inches will significantly alter the cab in unexpected ways. If you need a 24 X 24 footprint, build a T48. Can it be 24 x 24 x 48?.
