Re: T36 - Blast From The Past
Thanks for the 50v tip! Had these babies running for 42 hours straight at a desert rave in Lancaster, multiple DJ's hopping on and off and I didn't have to worry about how much they were redlining on the mixer. Beautiful deep bass, was getting compliments all weekend that we had the best setup!

Re: T36 - Blast From The Past
Well in the pursuit of MORE bass, one of my childhood friends who I inspired to build BFM cabs has given me a two of his dual 3012lf loaded T30's! My question is now what to set the new voltage limits to. I don't have access to the t30 plans, but from what I can gather on the forums it seems to be t...

T36 - Blast From The Past
t36_ot12.jpg Hi y'all! Been a while since I've posted here. Pretty excited to have just gotten my small PA setup shipped out from my parents' place in Houston out to me in Los Angeles. Built this 3015lf t36 24" and 2512 ot12's in 2007 with my dad and used them a ton in college before leaving t...

I was running dual SHS SA-2500's to the omni's (1 amp per side) in stereo. The tuba's I ran both off a EP1500 in stereo (max around 270w at 8 ohms). Behringer cx2310 crossover crossing the tops at 120 Hz with the right channel going to one amp, and the left to another, and a mono sub output to the t...

BFM Mobile DJ Setup
Alrite, so me and my friend finished up our second set of Omnitop 1x12's and T36 this week and had the opportunity last nite to test these bad boys out. Sound was unbelievable, we had so many people complimenting our setup, and v coupling? Wow, I thought corner loading was good, but the amount of ba...

i hear ya, this houston humidity is horrible. first omni 12 got so warped that I had to trash it, then I went out to lowes and bought 3/4 inch 7 ply arauco. I know its overkill and probably screwed up a few dimensions, but that stuff DOES NOT WARP. Rather cheap too. However for my t36 build, im gonn...

OT 1x 12 AMAZING!
Just finished my OT 1x12 this last Saturday morning, and had a gig that night, lol, so kind of a tight fit for time. Didn't manage to get the paint and finer details on yet, but I thought I'd share my review of them. One word, WOW. These things look and sound beautiful. The highs, mids, and bass all...

i know what the plans say, but at the time, lowes was out of 1/2 inch, i know its probably overkill, but i really like how much more sturdier these cabs feel. they may weigh more, but they feel solid. never have to worry about splitting the wood with screws and i think the extra 1/4 inch should hold...
