Usually a Latex paint will be fine over Enamel or oil based paints but only with sufficient dry time above 60-70 degrees. You have to make sure all of the solvents have evaporated out of the paint. I just got back from Lowes... If they can stock the Arauco plywood, hopefully, the price will be $24 if not it'll be $37 a sheet and I have to buy a full bunk!(78 pieces)

Doesn't anyone have a sheet of 1/2"(15/32") Arauco or Lauan plywood from Lowes? I just need the #'s off of it!

I've built a cab from what's called Arauco plywood. 1/2", 5 ply. It works well, is void-free and best of all takes a Duratex finish as well as Birch but costs at least 1/3 less. It also weighs less than Birch. Two thumbs up. This is the only plywood I've found at Lowe's that's any good. Does a...
