Re: T30/T48/T60
Looking back through this thread, Is there a particular reason for comparing the dual 10" T30s to the dual 12" other cabs? At 30" wide, a dual 12" is an option for the Tuba30 as well. Dual loaded cab frequency graphs would be similar to a single loaded at half the width. (+6dB fo...

Re: 2 DR250 build - Europe Materials
Looking good so far! I second using 4 pole connectors for bi-amping. Once everything is built, it should be difficult to hookup incorrectly. Just one cable in, then one to link to the next cab. Either pre wire a patch panel for the back of your amp rack Or some short breakout/Y cables you could leav...

Re: First Build : Plywood Sourcing Challenges
AuraCo is sort of a name brand I think. Similar to Radiata pine at my local Home Depot, unfortunately I usually only see it in 3/4" ish there in my area. ACX is the surface ratting. Think of it like A side = good, B = OK, C = a little rough, D = Dog house.. X is exterior grade? AC = one good si...

Re: T39 maintenance
I think you are confusing high-pass and low-pass. High-pass allows all frequencys higher than the specified frequency to pass onto the speaker. Low-pass only allows lower frequencies. So for the T39s you will want to high-pass 45Hz or 40Hz if in groups of 4 or more. Then low-pass the T39s at around ...

Re: Jack 10s and Tuba 24s?
If you really like cubes, or they just fit better in your current transportation, the T24 is an option. Usually the benefit of using Tubas over Titans is a lower high-pass setting on the low-end at the expense of some sensitivity/output. The High-pass setting on the T24 and T39 are the same 45hz, or...

Re: BFM {24 inch wide} T48 vs EAW SB 1000z
I know you were asking about T48 but In size and deployment style, the SB1000z is closer to the Tuba 45. Comparing 1v1 the max output of the dual 18" is almost always gonna beat a single 12" even horn loaded. However it does take a good bit of power to get there. A lot of shows I'm working...

Loving the purple and well everything about this! Nice that you have them up on a stand at ear level too! Can I ask for another photo of the top? Looks like amp is sitting on another board to clear the top handle maybe? I'm curious about what's going on there! :) Thanks for sharing these great looki...

Re: TLAH or SLA PRO for a church
Any of the recommended drivers will work well! I'll say if these are permanently mounted to a wall the benifit of the Alphalight being lighter is wasted... Wait, aren't those discontinued? You'll want the latest version of the plans. There are other recommended drivers from GRS, PRV and a few other ...

For Home Theater?
I'd give this guy a try.
Looks like it fits the specs and has a similar Xmax the RSS390ho
Plus, its less than half of cost.

Re: Simplexx 15 Ported and Sealed?
If your double check the QTS spec on the BP1526 is should be in the range that's recommended for either a sealed or ported S15 cab.
Ported will give you a little more sensitivity on the low end.
You can check the frequency response graphs here viewtopic.php?t=20963

Re: 4x T48 and 4x OT12 build
I usualy put gasket tape on the back of speakon Jacks, although I haven't tried putting them in the drive chamber.
If your jacks are far enough from the driver, there may be room to build a small dog house behind the jacks to seal them from the main chamber.

Re: Are 24 x T60-LAB15s Enough? ;)
Lab12 extra gasket, I understood it was for when you want to back load the driver if not using it in a horn cabinet. Keep that gasket though, as it is a perfect template for marking out your driver cutouts on the baffle and mounting points. Cab construction. PL and 18ga Brad's is the way to go. Clam...

Re: 24" THTLP with TLAH towers
I like my TV a little higher than usual, so, probably don't listen to me, :) BUT, Is removing the legs off the bottom of the TV cabinet an option? That might give you just the room you need... That being said, I like your stand ideal. I don't know if it would be very noticeable the difference of hav...
