If your double check the QTS spec on the BP1526 is should be in the range that's recommended for either a sealed or ported S15 cab.
Ported will give you a little more sensitivity on the low end.

I usualy put gasket tape on the back of speakon Jacks, although I haven't tried putting them in the drive chamber.

If your jacks are far enough from the driver, there may be room to build a small dog house behind the jacks to seal them from the main chamber.

Lab12 extra gasket, I understood it was for when you want to back load the driver if not using it in a horn cabinet.
