Re: Car sub ideas
I have a new question to ask… I just bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Sonata that comes with a premium Bose system that has absolutely no punch at all!!! I’m a little gun shy on altering this stereo though as everything is integrated. Does anyone have recommendations on how I can add a little definit...

Re: Titan 39 positioning for outdoor concert tomorrow
How did it go?? We need a gig report! Event went perfect! There were a few rappers there so I was really concerned about getting the most out of my system without over-taxing it. Success on that account. Once I finally received the band riders... I figured out that I did not need to use even half t...

Re: Titan 39 positioning for outdoor concert tomorrow
What if you have 2 15" on each side with the 2 24" v plated in the middle? Or 2x2 stacks of 15" in the middle with a 24" on each side? You could v plate them all, then. Not sure how v plates work with other non-v plates I'd be very curious what Bill or Bruce have to say on this ...

Re: Titan 39 positioning for outdoor concert tomorrow
Clearly another V plate is in order 😄 I have 4 more 15" speakers coming in about a month (hoping). I ordered them with 2 V-plates as well. I only have 6 speakers currently and 2 different widths so a second V-Plate would be a fun jigsaw puzzle to figure out - LOL Looks like I may just end up g...

Re: Titan 39 positioning for outdoor concert tomorrow
How would you recommend splitting the subs? I currently have: 4 x 15" wide LAB subs, 2 x 24" wide LAB subs, and 1 V plate. Until now, I've ran 2 skinny and 1 wide per side at most events with them just standing upright next to each other. This has worked well for me so far. Tomorrow will b...

Titan 39 positioning for outdoor concert tomorrow
I have a concert tomorrow that has a concrete stage in a park. The face of the stage is approximately 5' high and the stage is quite wide (I'm guessing close to 65' across). I am planning on V-plating the 6 Titan 39 subs I have for the first time at this event and have a few questions. Will the wall...

Thank you Bill. For some reason I never received a notification on your answer so I just browsed here to see your response.

Car sub ideas
I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but here it goes. I have a 4 ohm LAB-12 that I can’t use anywhere else. My Boston Acoustics sub in the back of my 2007 Dodge Caliber needs to be replaced or repaired so I figured... why not use that amp channel to drive a custom box and since I...

Re: DIY Cable Ramps
@Nuke, I run a digital snake and my speaker cables are 1/2" OD. My sub snakes are almost always running around or under a stage... I'm really trying to limit height and ramp pitch for the audience. These were drawn with 3/4" height to the chamber.

It won't let me post the SKP file here... I would be happy to provide if someone wants.

Re: DIY Cable Ramps
3/8" plywood top and bottom with 1x4 for the ramps and 1 x 3/4 for the middle divider. Black and yellow paint for safety of course. 3/8" pegs to hold the ramps in place.
