We stuck with using all six of the yorkville 118's. I should mention that two of them were the powered version, four were passive. A yorkville 4040 amp was used for each pair of passives. I have 8 of the t39's. I think my t39s vplated and stacked would have kept up with the 4 passive. However adding...

Hey guys, I was just reveiwing the thread with my wife. She pointed out something that is I think very piculiar. While testing our tubas I foud that I agree with Bill. What I found is that the increased Xmax did not gain nearly as much as one would think. I would have thought A longer coil and possibly larger wire for the coil(which possibly could give higher thermal limitsz) would give more output than it did...
