Re: Deltalite 2512 repairable?

Greg your recall would be correct for the kit that G-Dogherty posted. They jig build it from the Eminence Kit so it's basically a drop in saving you a few steps and of coarse they charge more for it. The actual Eminence kits do not come assembled as Leland stated. I can get you the kit for $55.00 pl...

Need Some dubstep tracks made

Re: Headphone amps

Nope, did not name a reason. Funny thing, you getting back in touch with a client because of a question from a fellow internet forum member living on another continent. As long as he pays the rental I have no reason to contact him. He can add subtract etc. as he pleases. If he has issues then he wou...

Re: Headphone amps

Thanks Ron, got news from him. He doesn't use the 8ch Behringer anymore. Now uses this smaller 4ch unit http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/AMP800.aspx . I'll see if that's available, fine for recording and possibly cheaper, but not enough channels for double duty in a band setting. lol Ok. It's b...

Yeah that would be right. Since football season is over he's probably not checking up too much.I'll give him a call.

Re: Headphone amps

Haven't heard from Jeremy, but I think I will order one of these shortly. For now, trying a workaround. Audio out of ADA8000 into cinch tape-in or CD-in on an old receiver. Doesn't work: apparently signal level is way too low :?: Is it not possible to use line-out from pro gear into cinch line-in o...

Re: Headphone amps

Recently I needed a headphone amp, when doing home recordings of piano tracks (two up to four piano tracks dubbed, pianist and myself needed to hear the recorded tracks through phones while adding additional tracks). Nothing fancy, no superduper hifi needed, but at least two to four channels. Behri...

Re: split RCA or no?

Notice the low level input L and R summed through a common - and 2-12K resistors through a Cap and then off to an opamp! No need for any opamp summing just a simple "Y" at the input and add resistors. Read the Rane note...it provides schematics for a passive summing box - both balanced an...

Re: split RCA or no?

To clear one thing up about summing two signals. You can do so with a "Y"as long as the two signals are the same in all respects. This is absolutely and categorically incorrect: it's all about the hardware circuitry of the outputs and has nothing whatsoever to do with the signal. The Rane ...

Re: Judgement day Titan 48

Listing to subs (especially these) without tops and trying to judge them is like someone offering you a bowl of cereal when they're out of milk :slap: I dunno know. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is pretty tasty without milk! How bout Oreo's without Milk? Personally I prefer my bikinis without tops! B...

Re: 01v version?

Go to the studio manager website. http://www.studioconnections.org/download/index.html download the GTC for whatever system you are using. *GTRC includes the sample template for DX7 / SPX990 / 01V / MOTIF / MOTIF-RACK. This should allow you to make a template that will work with the original O1V but...

Re: split RCA or no?

Simply take the sub out of the reciever right into either the L or R of the Foster Amp. According to the Foster schematics the L/R inputs (RCA or Hi Level inputs) are immediately summed at the inputs anyways.Although not the best way to do it they use a simple resistive network to complete the sum. ...

Re: Feedback

This is a pretty interesting topic as it has evolved into dealing with the "input" problem as we like to call it. How true it is about the actual "voicing" being applied in a live situation.I've run into many different "input" problems over the years.I'll take a moment ...

Re: Feedback

Well here's the bottom line. With the PA at war volume you should be able use an open mic within 3 ft of either stack and clearly understand it.If not either you EQ set up is drastically wrong or you are using a pretty crappy mic or both.Keep in mind systems that are not time aligned very well are m...
