I know this thread is 4 years old, but It is similar to what I want to do with my build. I was wondering if anyone had ever taken this a step further and attached the Cab to the wall and added something like this to the edges where it meets the wall? Would there be any drawbacks to doing this?

Hi all, I'm a college student in SC, and home is in NC. I've never built any speaker before, and am about to start on a THTLP. I've been lurking here and on AVS for quite some time. I'll start a build thread with some questions later, I just wanted to introduce myself first.

I just got my plans for the THTLP. Was looking on speakerhardware.com and did not see THTLP flatpacks. I saw THT but not the LP version.
