Re: Crossover frequency does matter
[quote="Bruce Weldy"]Well, it's a slow Easter Sunday here on the forum.....so, I though I'd start a little discussion. First, an observation concerning different speakers in the same room. I have run sound in a particular venue here in town several times - pretty evenly split between a ren...

Re: PA+ settings for new release DR250's?
Not quite sure with the older model but the PA+ sure does. I refuse to use the auto EQ on the PA+ anymore because of it. Try it and find out or pull up your settings to see if your x-over settings have changed since the last time you have used auto EQ. That only happens is you use the set up wizard...

Re: PA+ settings for new release DR250's?
Just to give an update on getting the system properly EQ'ed. I did my setup outside as noted and spent over an hour tweeking the sound to my liking after the auto EQ on the PA+ was finished doing it's thing. After doing so I went back to double check everything before I saved it in the system only ...

Re: First gigs with Otops.
A follow up to my first review. I had intended to try to cut down on the weight of my amp rack by running the Otop 12s with passive crossovers and it worked very well until both the compression drivers in the cabs blew. I don't know why, very strange. I had 2 spare drivers, so I put these in and di...

Re: Outdoor Events Review, OT12 and T39
The event that I wrote about in the OT section last week went off on Saturday without a hitch. My company provided the sound system for free as a contribution to the cause. The event took place at a Park in Boston adjacent to the Charles River and was attended by about 3000 people. The PA was used ...

Re: Titan 48 vs. keele's W-bin
Almost every sound system in our place uses keele's.I must admit that the keele's are louder and can go lower than my titans but mine sounds cleaner.4 keele's will play a little louder and lower than my 8 titans.
