Re: Building Titan 48s and OmniTop 12s in europe

Hey Nayberg It sounds like a very cool project. Where are you situated and does that project have a name? Its such an important thing to give concerts and workshops for free, or a small amount of money. We got that discussion since a few years in my hometown, where now even the social centre is char...

Check out Daughters of Glory by the Black Sorrows as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwrYldcj2m4 For me, playing cowbell and snare in that song was one of the more challenging things to do as a drummer. ... needs way more cowbell ! http://www.operationsports.com/forums/albumpicture.php?albumi...

Re: T48 Build

It is only on the straightline in front of the hornmouth. I was quiet shure, that i dind't switch the polarity on any sub. They are I think i have to build a polarityswiching device, so i could check if one is inverted. The Signal is coming mono from the driverack to the amp, leaving the amp on both...

Re: T48 Build

..and a rigger! A think i real rigger wouldn't have gotten a stroke, he would have just beaten us to death. :slap: I know the beam on top seems a bit criminal, but at least it was all saved with tiedown straps and anchored to the ground. The stage itself was quiet stable. You have to see that...

Re: T48 Build

Hello friends of the circular saw I didn't answer in a long time. I managed to get almost everything correct now. Had to reglue the mouthbracing, and do some EQ work. The PA is now standing at an Outdoor festival (around 300pax expected). Tomorow mornig will be soundcheck. It will mainly be used for...

Re: T48 Build

Hey Grant 1. The cabs are 66cm wide (inside) I made all the bracing as shown in the plans/sketchup. 2. The HP filter on the crossover (Driverack 260) was set to around 40hz i think (24db/o Linkwiz) But for safety-reasons i had also the 30hz lowcut on the amp activated. 3. The mud was in the lows. A ...

Re: T48 Build

Ahhh, i am so happy now. Just moved the cabs outdoors (just 2 of them) and measured it again. They had a much better response. On axis it showed almost the same response as the chart on the website. offaxis (i just stacked them vertically, side by side) it had a little dip at 60Hz. I will, if i have...

Re: T48 Build

But what i realized, when i did fire them up: I have a massive dip @62Hz, something, that can't be threatened by EQ, and to be room related its too much i think. Its around 12dB measured. What could that be? As far as i could test, there are no airleaks. Measured by ear with a sine-sweep, and by CAR...
