Re: Possible DURATEX/WARNEX alternative?
Yes, I've tested it... Can't really compare to duratex/warnex (because I haven't used them), applied it with a roller, quite pleased with the final result. It seems it can handle normal gig abuse. Used them a few times, only minor scratches from loading/unloading. See attached pic (right after paint...

Re: Possible DURATEX/WARNEX alternative?
Thanks for the opinions.
I will use this product once the builds are complete (haven't started yet, as I'm still scouting for materials
).
I'll let you know if it worked. Might be worth looking at if building in Europe.

Possible DURATEX/WARNEX alternative?
While I was looking for warnex for my first build, I stumbled across this product: WaterTex (http://www.watertex.net). It appears to be made in Spain. Really cheap too, 228,69€ for a 20 kg bucket, (that's roughly 11,43€/kg, less than half for the warnex stuff sold in Thomann!) including shipping and...

Re: Greetings from Portugal!
Thanks!
Do I have to pay carriage once for all, or for each?
I'm still waiting to hear from the sales representative from here. Once I do I'll PM you.
Now I'm off to get some plywood. See you at the build threads!

Re: Greetings from Portugal!
Seems this plywood is the real deal! Thank you! Thanks escapemcp, really appreciate the effort! Yes, I would buy them all in one go, at least 4 of them (depends on the price :broke: ). I am still waiting to hear from the eighteen sound portuguese representative about the price. Can't find many revie...

Re: Greetings from Portugal!
Thanks for the replies! I'm considering the 27 inches wide version loaded with 18sound 15NLW9300 (still trying to find a nice price though :? ). Is this the best driver regarding output? I'm still confused as the plans state it must be limited at 80V (+20V than the Lab15) is this correct? Seems a bi...

Greetings from Portugal!
Hi to all members! My name is Pedro, from Portugal. Woodworking skills are not very sharp, but I hope to acquire some during the builds  I've been lurking this forum for quite a while (nearly 2 years), and finally decided to take the "leap of faith" and start my build. I plan to build...
