Design query for a folded horn Cajon box
Hi Folks I haven't been here for a few months since I finished the the subs but good to catch up on the latest news :-) I have recently built a Cajon box and was toying with the idea of a folded horn version. Is there a standard ratio of length to area that I should try to design to? I could try to ...

Don't use Australia Post ShopMate
I recently purchased some speaker stand brackets in the US for my new Dr250 speakers. Unfortunately I foolishly decided to use the new Australian Post, ShopMate, to ship them back. I thought that since I am sending a package I may as well add a few other items with it so I purchased two matchbox car...

You are 100% correct Rune
, it is WAAAAAAY overrated, but they were all I could find in stock, in Australia, on that day
Don't worry the transformers are nice and snug in there, they wont go anywhere.

Re: Driverack PA 110 to 240V Conversion
Wouldn't it have cost less still to order in a 240V version??? I couldn't find anywhere to get a 240V version from, at least not for anything close to that cost :-) My system is just getting better by the day, our drummer just purchased a new Berringer X32 producer desk and dropped it off to me to ...

Driverack PA 110 to 240V Conversion
Hi Folks I did the 240V conversion to the Driverack on the weekend. Pretty simple process once you have the transformers. I couldn't get a direct replacement so I had to get two separate transformers. One is a 10V secondary and the other a dual 17V secondary. I started by removing the screws on the ...

Speakon connectors for power supply... WTF...
Am I mistaken or are people starting to use Speakons for mains voltage power supply? is there another similar looking connector? Nobody could possibly be that stupid could they? There is the obvious issue of plugging the mains connector into a speaker socket and toasting your drivers with an enterta...

Re: T39 Build, Perth Western Australia
Hi Folks, Happy to announce the completion of the subs :-). So far so good, I have fired them up and they work, a slight leak around the access cover but I expected that as I am going to replace the 1/4 hex cap head screws with flat head hex screws so as to get a decent amount of force sealing them....

Re: T39 Build, Perth Western Australia
Very interesting escapemcp, I had a quick look at what Perth, Western Australia, was using right now and it was 3125 Mw. I know of many mines around the state that have power stations raging from between 20Mw to 160 Mw. Add to this the towns that support them (the towns would not be there if the min...

Re: Changing guitar neck
Do a search for "spiling", you should find quite a few methods of transfering a profile, especially in boat building circles.

Hi Sam
How much PL did you have to order? I might take some off your hands if you had to get a whole carton.
