Re: 4 T48s and 2 Cosyne synergy horn: Canberra Oz
Hey bitsmasher. Andes are owning. Pretty solid for $200 :) The Azuras are wild. So clean and spacious. Pretty hard to track down as well. Martin makes them to order in Perth but the bigger ones would be extremely expensive to ship east side. I ended up picking up a second hand pair from a guy in Liv...

Re: Hi From Melbourne, Australia
hey basshund Marko and I put the Communi-fi system together pretty much on a whim like you seem to be doing. Read lots and take the plunge and you will have a blast. In terms of T48's I can absolutely recommend them. They are hefty! We have a pair loaded with Ande 1560LB drivers from JD Sound.$200 e...

Re: Advice on a 8-12 channel mixer preferably with Firewire/
Thanks for the suggestions Grant and Bruce.
I've had a look at the 12 channel ov1 on ebay and it seems pretty well featured. Have either of you used one?
Could stretch past $500 if I was going to get a good deal.

Re: 4 T48s and 2 DR250- Horizonize and Marko: Canberra Austr
hey all. sunny/rainy saturday and we've nearly finished the synergies, so we walked the titans and gear down to the local oval for some testing. well we were going to test. just ended up setting it so it sounded good and then playing frisbee for 4 hours. Finally sorted out the rack. Bunker bpd 1+,QS...

Re: 4 T48s and 2 DR250- Horizonize and Marko: Canberra Austr
Oh, and am I reading right? You're sending the same passband (LF) to two different types of cabs? If so: lol The W Bins and T48's have different path lengths, which will invariably cause phase issues... No we are sending same passband to the GX7 amp which can either do stereo or dual mono operation...

Re: 4 T48s and 2 DR250- Horizonize and Marko: Canberra Austr
Can you programme the bunker without using a USB? As in set, save and forget standalone? Or, if you have to use USB, can you set then save, and then operate the unit standalone? Overall, sounds like a RS RS485/USB driver issue... yes you could but the limiters for each band do not seem to be able to...

hi everyone, just woke up after massive effort yesterday to finally make some noise. nice noise too, fairly clean and open, but still a lot of work to be done. tops sounding a lot more coherent after spending some time puttying up and sanding back the ports and frustums running the system three way ...

Re: 4x Titan 48 36' and driver upsize on 2x Titan 48 24' wid
Sounds like a plan! I have been looking at the 18 sound 15 inch drivers after two 15NLW9300s became available. Linear xmax on the NLW9500 is listed at 9mm (for 18mm total travel). I don't think you'd want to be forcing cone much beyond that routinely. Maybe 15 mm clearance between brace and driver (...
