Re: THT, What to expect from Premium driver?
2 THTLP’s here... you can get them flat, and you can get them LOUD with 2. mine are 31” wide. Located at the front and rear of the room mouths about 20” away from the corner. My bass is even enough for my room. I’m using the RSS Dayton subs.

The van was just in the photo. I moved it before I did the testing. Sorry for that mix up.

Re: Anyone Have a basic EQ start for OT12's with NSD2005's?
Thanks Bill, I understand that. but it's so cold outside that I was hoping that someone had a cart made up! Is there a certain distance to do the analyzing? and a certain level the pink noise should be generated at? all these things change the response. the response my drive rack came up with doesn'...

Anyone Have a basic EQ start for OT12's with NSD2005's?
Hey all, I recently built 2 OT12's with Delta pros and NSD2005's and 2 27" wideT39's with lab 12's. I'm using a DRPX for eq and limiting. I tried eqing it in my yard which is wide open but it looks wrong. They seem very "forward" in the 4-8k area. I did lower it a bit but now I questi...

QSC GX7 or Crown XLS2500 or wait for Peavey IPR2 3000
Here is my situation... I have ordered a Peavey IPR3000 from Guitar Center on 9-2-13, it said it was in stock, I wanted it because everywhere else it was discontinued and it was at a lower price (I guess to push the old ones out). Like a day later I get an email saying it was on back order, and that...

Re: T39 First ever cab build
I wanna built another one asap but I gotta built a pair of OT12's first. Here is a 60hz test tone..... 118db at 21.2v from 7ft. way!! and it's in a bad spot in my room positioned in a less than desirable way! Is it normal to feel afraid to turn it up to the 50v limit because it might break?!...

DEQ2496 firmware update
I stumbled upon this searching the net,
http://www.icycolors.com/nu9n/deq2496.html
It's the firmware update/software for the DEQ2496 for both version 1 units and version 2 units. I figured this might help some folks out.

Re: T39 First ever cab build
I used 3 1/2 tubes of PL 3x!! The "waiting for caulk to dry" was for the speaker wire through hole. It says in the plans not to install the driver until the caulk dries inside the chamber. There is a problem tho........ Is a 12" speaker suppose to get this loud at low volume!!!!!!!!!!...

Re: T39 First ever cab build
I just finished putting the last panel on. It all came out straight and square after adjusting 2 of the panel braces. Now I just have to wait for the caulk to dry to install the driver and do the leak testing. I can't wait!!

Re: T39 First ever cab build
It can't be too hard to find in a giant metro area like where you are. I'm in the middle of Texas and I drive 30 minutes to pick it up for $25 a sheet 5x5. It is here! I just have to buy a pallet or 2 of it! Lol! but for single sheets, believe it or not... It is hard. There is consumer crap here fo...

Re: T39 First ever cab build
Looks pretty good, but what kind of plywood are you using? From the pictures it looks like 3-ply with thin veneer. Not the best material for solid cabs as it warps easily, and the thin veneer breaks away from the core much more easily than "real" plywood with even ply thickness. Yeah, I k...
