Even if one side was done with Acrylic, it would look cool.

Re: Slim Tuba HT Trials
kenkenni,
What part of Atlanta do you live in? I'm looking to build a Tuba HT but I'd sure like to hear/feel one first. I'm in Gwinnett.

Re: In May I'll be standing upright
Let me be the first to say Welcome to Atlanta! I've been here almost 18 yrs now. I love living here. Make sure you go to The Varsity! It's an Atlanta classic burger drive-in joint. You'll pass it on your way from the airport if you go through downtown. My pic: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2713/4414...

Re: Another from Atlanta
T all A uto T uba ...... I can see it's bigger than the T18, which I assume means a lower bottom extension. The horn length determines the extension. Nearly identical for AT, TAT and T18 as far as I know. Neither goes much lower than the other. The original AT was designed to fit in the trunk of mo...

Re: Another from Atlanta
And last but not least, for my sunroom system. I think I want to do a horn with my Dayton 10" Classic sub. I'm thinking the Tuba 18 unless there is a better, larger version that will really hit the bottom end for this driver. The TT as already mentioned, will hit the bottom end best. However t...

The room is 12X24X8, 2308 cu ft. It's going to be interesting to see what the peaks and nulls are at listening position.

Re: Another from Atlanta
Good news on the Avalanches! I'll probably roll with those. I'll measure the room out tomorrow and let you know. The reason I picked the 30" wide is because the 24" has a small (maybe not real noticeable dip), and because I can fit a 30" between the wall and fireplace. :) If I have so...

Another from Atlanta
Hello all, I've been into music and HT for over 30 yrs. I've gone from a simple 2 channel Jensen back in the mid 80, to current full surround Emotiva/Adcom system. The reason I'm here is that I've recently moved into a rental. Mr. Landlord won't let me cut holes for my IB. hehe It appears the horn d...
