Re: The final resting place of the DR200s with Ribbons

The time has come that I've outgrown my DRs. Big things in the works to replace them, but they'll make sweet sound for a really great church for years to come. Everyone rest assured, they're flown properly with rigging designed by a qualified engineer. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q64WYd7wXR0...

Re: I'm going digital.

My church has the Qu-24 and it is simply amazing. I literally have nothing bad to say about it other than the lack of scribble strips. Re: 'Punisher' horn subs

Just move everyone to in ears, problem solved and you never have to worry about stage bleed! lowsound Monitors are not backline. Amps and drums are backline. In-ears won't change that. However, monitor wash can be an issue too, but not nearly as much as the instruments. Everyone goes direct and you...

Re: 'Punisher' horn subs

I will set a delay for the mains to match the subs, from there I will look for a backline delay. You need to delay the mains to the backline. That's critical, because they're playing the same content in the midrange, where a time align differential as short as 5ms can be easily heard. Don't worry a...

The other distance was correct, it was taking horn length into the equation.

Yep, Davids would be the right direction to go. Or, build SLAs to put on top.

I have been known to throw those out. Although, I have had the pleasure of always playing with tight drummers, not always flashy, but never bad ones.
