Re: Australian Options - Suppliers / Drivers etc

A LAB15 is $639au, and one 1016 ends up costing around $8au ea  , it's always been the case Bruce but it's ok :) I thought the 3010MB win was good value, it's what you'd have paid in the US.. and our dollar is 0.65US atm. l've found a b...

A pair of J15s perhaps.. easy to build. Possibly add an outboard T39 if more LF is needed.

Re: Australian Options - Suppliers / Drivers etc
Good afternoon all,
there's an opportunity here for purchasing a pair of opened but unused 3010MBs, as they're discontinued, l'm wondering about the availability of recone kits?
Also the frame doesn't look like it wants to be back mounted, like in a DR250

..I'm fairly certain it will provide 16 individual outputs, each with it's own delay adjustable from 0.3 to 500ms.. ..if the 4th cab from center on the left and the 4th cab from center on the right both need 15ms delay, you'd simply daisy chain from the amp to the one on the left then also to the c...

Re: DR build questions
Thought you might find this interesting. Yes.. quite! The Powersoft range is out of reach, however the Admark AD442 could be landed here for $3k AU, which is really cheap for what the specs promise.. And being able to carry the amp & PA2 case with one hand, laptop & controller in the other....

I personally like slim 1RU amplifiers with 4 channels. Seth, did you end up receiving the one you found online? We wish you were here, too! It will be quite the journey, and the help would be much appreciated! I'd be there with bells on.. and pair of melded 280s for your lower cabs to save your bui...

Re: 24" THTLP with TLAH towers
First, the TLAH towers... They are very clear and the detail they produce is incredible. The THTLP is, of course, an absolute monster.. Absolutely..! Excellent choice of cabs mate, and very well built too. Which receiver are you running there? Is it a Yamaha? Have you decided on which Curve ...

Re: Are 24 x T60-LAB15s Enough? ;)
How many ohms do we use? 6 ohms for the LAB12 driver? Do we add 2 ohms for the cab? So do we count 8 ohms total for amp load? Yes mate. Does anyone know what the ohm rating for the DR280s is? Nominal Impedance with the 3012HO and 2x Series wired NSD2005s would be 5.33ohms I think. Do you have a sou...

Agreed, the 2x12 20” version seems like the way to go for max output. Levi, did you mean 2x12 30" version? To address the PITA transport and storage, I am flirting hard with doubling up with the 1x12 version Do you have help to setup? I'm trying to see the advantage performance wise, with usin...
