Re: WH10 CD vs Peizo

Had time & good weather to paint yesterday, so l did in the usual manner. 20260406_092201.jpg However l noticed this morning the paint had cracked in the joint line. 20260406_092056.jpg I'll cook the paint today, leave it for a few days & touch up the cracks, just wondering why? It was a fre...

Re: Optimal tops spacing outdoors

Cool idea with the ladders, Keryn. Thanks mate :) Crowd size on this occasion is most likely no more than 15 people! So depth & width is small, listening area is a 5 acre grass area in the middle of a 150acre farm. It'll be run in stereo. If it were me, I'd triangulate... Ok cool, thank you, l ...

I've tried to take videos with my phone (S20) before, but they didn't do the sound justice.. I'll try again though

Optimal tops spacing outdoors

Evening lads, l'm allowed out to play soon & wondering about top placement. There's no room for scaffolding in my transportation, so using what's already in the van/trailer is this contraption.. 20260111_101212.jpg 20260111_101231.jpg If you were to setup on a flat open field for a demonstration...

Demo of 6xT48s & 8xOT8s in Australia 🇦🇺

G'day, Heading out to a farm in Kalbar Queensland on the 11/12th April to let this system rip finally, with an alternative date of 25/26th in case of poor weather. I haven't experienced the 6xT48s V-Plated yet.. really looking forward to that moment :) If it's good weather on the 11th, the alternati...

Re: First BFM Build Odyssey: Tuba 60

Space was a concern for me... I get that, it needn't be full sized, they can be stored elsewhere or used as an assembly/work table also I felt like I didn't have the patience to make that panel jig. For best results, patience is the key.. channel your inner Zen master :) It's going to be a long jou...

I hear you man, are you using the ground stack/coupling brackets in the plans?

Re: 2x THTLP build after a 10 year hiatus

..I specifically made enough room for two THTLP's to go there and the time has come to build said THTLP's.. I really enjoy seeing these and the T60s come together Are you sure the structural integrity of the room will be able to withstand 2 of them flexing way down in the hz? They'll d...

Re: First BFM Build Odyssey: Tuba 60

Take your time & enjoy the build mate, it'll show in the results. I couldn't imagine doing this with a circular saw I feel like it would be Messier and take longer. With a cutting table & zero clearance circular saw sled (in the panel jig plans), breaking down a full sized sheet accurately s...

Re: WH10 CD vs Peizo

Looks good, if there's enough clearance to fit the HF driver. Ok great, yes there's plenty, using an ASD1001B equivalent. Thank you I applaud you taking on WH10s. I built three of them many years ago - not an easy build with all of the combination miters. Looks good. Thanks Bruce, yes l read your p...

Checking in before l marry the horn to the flare & continue on with the shell, are you seeing any problems?

Re: WH10 CD vs Peizo

I'm thinking of adding the second flare and diffuser rod to the the WH10 CD horn, as l have enough stock of GT1016s to complete pairs of the WH8 & 6, but not all three models of WH. Reason being 1016s end up at around Au$8ea to us, & l have plenty of CDs here. I'd prefer not to use the Daich...
