Re: 24" THTLP with TLAH towers
They look great. How did you make those corner filler things for the tweeters? Time for a center channel build.

Re: Simplexx 1x12 Build - Woofer only
Looks great! Good job. I made mine with a BP102 and a circular grill protecting it. Later I added Eminence APT80 tweeter and a pole mount for maximum versatility. Sounds great.

Re: TLAH OR PRO'S FOR THEATER
TLAH all the way. Buy these right now! https://www.parts-express.com/TR-48-Speaker-299-4310?quantity=1 There was a thread about these drivers and the man gave his approval. I got enough to build 2 angled TLAH's, a 9 drive SLA center, 4 surrounds, and a few extra just in case. If my garage wasn't a d...

Re: mrz80's XF-208 project
That turned out awesome! I'm diggin the speaker grill only look.
You've inspired me to make a xf204 for a garage speaker boombox. I might be able to 3d print that.

Re: Grant Bunter
Hey Keryn, is there a way we can all "e sign" a guestbook or something that you can print out and display at the service? Just something to show everyone all the friends he had all over the world. Maybe add a short blurb about what he meant to us and others.

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
I didn't notice it before but the 100-300L Vas recommendation is for fifteen inch drivers. Twelves have smaller Vas than fifteens, so you should have been comparing against recommended twelves. The Dayton RSS 315-4 Vas is 84L. I feel dumb. Your plans have a lot the same info on the first few pages ...

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
I'd do it.. Your Qts, Fs and Xmax are there, and if it fails to impress you, you have a reason to save up for a LAB15 :) Now.. what are you building for mains? TLAH. I already have SLA's but they look like pro-audio cabinets with stands. Center will be a 6 driver curved array and I'll get to the su...

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
But the Vas is way low so that also means a smaller cab is better? Vas being low doesn't change the required length and mouth area of a horn for a given response. Doesn't a narrower cab mean a smaller driver chamber and less horn mouth area? I know the horn path will stay the same regardless of wid...

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
Is the 1232 something you have already jimbo? Also how wide were you thinking? Yes, I was gifted the driver and matching power amp from a friend. It was part of an Infinity home theater setup. As far as width, I'd like to make it whatever size works best (but <or= 28" to get through doorway) S...

Re: Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
The quote being in response to a driver for a top, presumably DR280. I'm curious if the advice you quoted is cab specific or fairly universal to horns general, and therefore also applicable to the Tuba's and Titans's Thanks, Seth. I've always adhered to the 10% above or below rule for crossover com...

Driver below recommended Vas, but all other requirements are perfect
I'm wanting to build a THT with an Infinity 1232w, but the Vas is only 78.50 liters when the requirements are between 100-320 liters. Is it a worthy candidate?

Re: T39: 4 x 20", 2 x 28" completed
I can't imagine doing what you did for your AT working in a T39 though, unless you also took a slice out of the top of the chamber. No bid deal I guess, since that's how they use to be made, but I was trying to minimise potential leak spots... I just appreciate the ingenuity and abstract thinking p...
