(Please don't flame me. I just hate explaining things to people and ...

Re: How do I prevent this from happening?

Thanks fir the tips guys. I gotta dig out my gear for a Halloween party this weekend so I'll try it out tomorrow. Out of curiosity, what plywood and finish/ paint did you go with there? Auraco and Duratex. The inside mouth of the t24 is just flat black spray paint I believe but duratex on outside.

Good title, huh? Made you click on this post didn't I? So I keep all my cabs in a climate controlled storage unit all with all my other pa gear. After some rearranging I noticed my least used cabs have some mold looking stuff growing on it. The floors are finished concrete and there's neve...

Re: Now I gone and done it. Silly me, I built a CNC!

I am already thinking of a mod to hard rubber V wheels as an alternative to the bearing rollers. That might increase the workable space by a couple of inches in each direction. I'd make a dust shoe and vacuum system before you do that. My buddy rigged a harbour freight dust collector and homemade d...

Good job! Did you level your bed? Any wobbles from the X and Y lead rod?

Re: Thoughts on Book

What about "Soundcraft Guide to Mixing"? I'm pretty sure someone recommend here cus I have a copy of it. I'll be honest, I've only skimmed through it.

Re: which tuba?

Sell speaker and use money to buy all the proper material to build a Tuba HT (which is designed for exactly what you want)

PLs great, but the mess is sometimes annoying.
PL is like making love. You get better at it over time.

Re: Show me your braces!

My bestest looking are a just a curved front and a couple holes drilled out. Now that I have access to a CNC, the sky's the limit. :fruit:

Re: Otop limit with Basslite

The 150w is continuous power all day long and the 300w is max at any given point. So do the math and you'll find you'll wanna limit between 34.64v - 48.98v
I limit mine at 10% below the max rating, but I don't think I've ever hit the limiter in any BFM model.

Re: Rackstuds

What a brilliant idea! And I just bought pack of new rack nuts and bolts. Since I have a 3D printer I think I can design and print some up. Which in the near future I'm gonna post something special about my latest build.
