Dr250 and T39 reaction

I fell in love with "I Cry" by Flo Rida as my reaction song because it comes on loud in the highs to show off the Dr's and then about 8-10 seconds in, the bass drops HARD and the T39's just pump. DJed a party on Friday the 21st, and these are some of my friend's reactions. I missed the fir...

Re: Proud new BFM speaker owner

Biggerrigger and I spent a good 2.5-3 hours on the phone today getting my DBX PA+ dialed in and BOY does it sound good. We did a volt test to make sure the amp wasn't pushing enough voltage to the drivers and at 3/4 throttle up the fader (main and channel gain turned down some) I could barely stand ...

Re: PA+ settings for new release DR250's?

Going to supply the data that Leland gave to me for the DR250's. He set this up in the PA+ on the GEQ and it sounded pretty damn good. I just need to know the differences on crossover settings and points (hz and gain) when do increase and decrease (two cabs or 4). Also what is being used for limiter...

Re: Proud new BFM speaker owner

well damn. I guess I do have a lot to learn. I am just so incredibly impressed by these subs, I can't imagine bigger and louder. I am an IT nerd so I love learning how, what, and why things work so bring on the information overload. I haven't even messed with the driverack yet. Leland was the first ...

Re: Proud new BFM speaker owner

Thanks Josh. Your extra stuff is going out today. I'll get those other DR's wrung out and get them to you. It's not the prettiest work I've ever done. Josh bought my system. I don't pay nearly as much attention to detail with my own stuff as I do with client builds. But it works good. One thing I d...

Re: Proud new BFM speaker owner

That's the exact same rig that I run for DJ'ing so I know where you are coming from. Just wait to you have it all setup and have 300 bodies or more dancing to your tune. I have got complements at every gig since building and using my BFM rig and could not be happier. If you have any questions don't...

Proud new BFM speaker owner

Hello all! I just purchased 4 DR250's and 4 Titan 39 cabs from Leland Crooks from Speakerhardware.com. After setting these up and running them in a very small barn yesterday to demo them, I am still in awe. The sound is just amazing and the tightness of the bass those cabinets produce and out of a 1...
