Re: myn's Tuba HT Build Thread

I can't wait to build a couple of these. I'll probably go with the 24.5" width as well since it is efficient material use and can get through practically all doorways. Since I want to build two at once, I'll just double up all my lumber and cut at the same time. I actually wanted to build a 36&...

Awesome fit and finish on those cabs. Super pro! ... maybe you need wheels with brakes that can be applied when in use. That sounds like a good idea, but I can't find any rigid casters with brakes on them. I actually opted against casters on my Tubas for that reason, especially since my brother uses...

This is an excellent build thread! I'll definitely use it as a reference when/if I build a pair of these. The purple tweeter array is a nice touch, and it lets people know that it's not just another PA cab. It'll definitely spark up conversation. I don't think I'm going to put grilles on my OTop 12s...

Being that it's a half of an inch thick, it's solid!

2x OTop 12 JArrays w/ melded tweeters

These are the first tops I've built. I built a Tuba 60 several months ago, and that was my first step into BF speakers. http://pquijal.com/speakers/otop12jarray/P1010032-700.jpg http://pquijal.com/speakers/otop12jarray/P1010041-700.jpg http://pquijal.com/speakers/otop12jarray/P1010042-700.jpg http:/...
