I think i messed up Crossover parts
my delivery is coming today when i realized that i purchased some coils that have a 200W RMS rating.
I was more concerned with having the "smallest gauge possible." I will have to return these and get something bigger right?

Re: Introducing SPL Chart
Bill, and others, I noticed on a competitors page (reputable name that starts with D), that their measurements are done referenced to 2.83V or 28.3V at 10m. Their charts don't offer a listed impedance for measurement, and some of their products are to be used at 4 or even 2 ohms. Shouldn't these ref...

Re: Circle Jig...
Now just build yourself a base to mount your router to. Find the mounting holes on the router, mark the holes onto the sliding part of the jig, then rout out an area for the bit to go through and clear some extra to allow for dust escape.

Re: Comb Filtering Question
Donny, I just posted this in another board. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPHpusei0jQ It's a DSL Jericho vs. a Meyer Mina setup. This has been called finger lobing, and it's along the same lines, but this is showing the effects of it in a line array. Comb filtering is often discussed in splayed cab...

Re: The sound of comb filtering
Here's a link to what Ivan Beaver and Mike Hedden of Danley Sound Labs will identify as "finger lobing."
The time effect on line arrays. This was a demo of a DSL Jericho (J1) vs. a Meyer Mina. Pretty cool.

Will do! If anyone reading this is building. The plans are great. The part about chiseling out the PL after it cures is SOOOOO right. You will have an ultra clean build if you do this. I simply used a plastic putty knife and it came off of the new SLA. It looks wonderful. Haste makes waste.

Bill, I do see the spacer now in the sketch up. I should be able to get them in.
Thanks for all the good work. Quite an undertaking. I really enjoy this. Might find my retirement career.

Anyone as new as me here? If you're gonna start doing this, build the crosscut sled. It's awesome.
Here are some great videos. William Ng is a master woodworker, explaining how he gets his sled crazy accurate.

Re: SLA Pros and Tuba 30 at 22" with LAB 12
I did the final cuts on the SLAs between the piezo holes on my table saw, and used a coping saw for the outermost cuts. I didn't know about a driver spacer for the tubas. I combing through the plans again. I don't see it. The holes are there, you just cant see them in the photos. I mounted it on the...
