No. The entire point of the LPad is that when used with an 8 ohm tweeter it will present a constant 8 ohm load to the crossover. If it didn't the crossover would not work.

I've been rolling duratex for years. Saw a thread on spraying it but have yet to see any photos. It's taken a lot of practice for me to get the texture that I want. Hope I can get it by spraying also. I'd like to see some up close samples.
