Re: Bingo! Jack 112

Haha, yeah I think I'm guilty of doing that too in the past! But yes, I have noted down my settings, minus gain control, which I tend to adjust to suit songs.

Re: Bingo! Jack 112

Was with my Fender P, and going through a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. I'm pretty sure I've found 'my setting', nice and punchy, with good lows, decent chunk of kids and a bit of high to round it off. Probably suits majority of songs we play with tweeter bank switched to half, but good to have the extra i...

Re: Bingo! Jack 112

Finally tonight for practice I had two cabs after buying an extra lead last weekend. My drummer was grinning just as much as me, and even got positive comments from the guitarist. The rest of the band are just surprised how clear the jacks are, and a full range covered too. Adding the extra cab give...

Re: Titan 48 & DR300 Build

Guido, PL is not available in all countries, but doesn't stop people successfully building.... Just make sure it is an expanding/ foaming glue? Most are moisture cure, so litely dampen joins before applying said glue. To double up your safety, you could try a caulking type sealer, smear inside on yo...

Re: 24" T39, 1xLAB12

I'm the same. Guards tend to be a pain. The ok kinda pain, not the missing limbs kinda pain. I always leave a push stick by the saw, so fingers are never going near the blade, and yes to see all that you are cutting is a plus. Who closes their eyes when using a saw? So why would you block out your v...

Re: J10L

I was first thinking..... There's not going to be a lot of guitarists(always worried about their looks on stage) that would like that colour beside them on stage for pa or bass use! Something else sticking out and taking eyes off themselves?! :loler:

Re: Titan 48 & DR300 Build

Wow that's some serious work going on, and gonna be epic when all finished and stacked. I think it might even put the four jack stack corner quiet for a while! :loler: What are you going to finish them in? I was just thinking, that's a whole heap of Duratex! And I was wondering, you're pretty confid...

Bingo! Jack 112

......And yes I have finally found what I've been looking for. Harley introduced me to the world of BFM and the Jacks in particular, and after I played them, the benchmark was set. Now I've finally completed my own build of two Jack 112's, I'm happy. :hyper: I had one with woofer only, and the other...

Re: First build Jack 112 x 2

Then the finished article, with my two girls..... And before anyone says anything..... Yes the wiring on the piezo array has been tidied up and concealed! I'm pretty pleased with the sound of these, I put them through their paces the other night, and played around with my amp/eq settings. Man are th...

Re: First build Jack 112 x 2

Break in time.... this was my first attempt, 30hz test tone, ipod through my Genz Benz Shuttle 6. After first setting it up and getting voltage right, I moved the speaker so it was away from the cardboard box it is hovering over, to a sturdy jig/brace I rigged up. After I took it down it dawned on m...
