Re: Rock-n-roller Cart DIY Table

Hey! That's not bad at all. I kind of like that it's not all black so it kind of makes flash drives easier to find and connections easier to spot in the rush of setting up.

Re: Finally got myself some lights in the mail

That specific fogger with the specific fluid (Roscoe's original Fog Fluid) seems to the item needed for outdoors. That fogger is hard to find anyway, They probably make them in small batches. I'll probably go with a hazer -Antari 350 specs say something about 2000 sq per min @ 1 minute squared, wha...

Re: Finally got myself some lights in the mail

Keeping that in mind Tom , I'm getting there, and I keep settling on haze after a few debates back and forth in my mind, but something keeps dragging me torwards this headline from here------> https://www.rosco.com/spectrum/index.php/2017/04/make-a-lot-of-fog-for-haze-outdoors/ But they might have a...

Re: Finally got myself some lights in the mail

Nice lights! I bought 8 older ADJ pockets scans that I fixed up, replaced mirrors, power supplies, fans, etc. Ok a wedding event is TOTALLY different! I know it’s hard but you may want to dial down the smoke effect. Is this on a tent or straight up outside? Do you have any flood lights? No tent , y...

Re: Finally got myself some lights in the mail

Check out the American DJ Entour Faze, https://www.adj.com/entour-faze Seems like the price is good, fast warmup , water base, compact, DMX. Not too power hungry either. It's what I have on my wish list anyway. Sorry , saw your post - quick replied to other bfm brother and got a little busy. I'll d...

Re: Finally got myself some lights in the mail

I know right! the poor everything else section  What lights did you get, and what are you currently using to control them? I ask because you may want to look at smoke or haze with a DMX option, so you can remote trigger them. How big is the area? Chauvet intimidator scan 315 irc SCANNER, parti...

Finally got myself some lights in the mail

Hopefully withstanding delivery abuse. My concern is I'm outdoors with zero atmospherics, planning on getting a fogger or hazer under 500$-450$. Anyone have experience using fogger or hazers. I don't want to buy 2 hazers just yet , but it seems like two high powered hazers might be my best bet espec...

Re: 36" THT Low Profile, Warning lots of coffin pictures

Good job. You sure smoothed it out. Some times you may find that an RCA crossover like Harrison Labs 100 Hz or 140 Hz low pass filter x2 will take out some flappyness. If the horn is doing overtime by working above 150hz that would be noticeable front corner or wherever you permanently installed it....

Re: Subwoofer maintenance

Got some sealant inside that wouldn't off gas. Now checking- seems as though only three bolts loose out of eight 3/8 , not too bad. I'll mark them with a florescent pen and check back in a year or two after I tighten them all down and seal it back up. I'm not even going to try and make it look prett...

Re: Subwoofer maintenance

I've had the same issue, and noticed they last time I cracked open my t-60s that the speaker gasket had compressed- to essentially nothing, maybe 1 mm! So one at a time I removed the bolts and put a tiny dab of blue (weaker) loctite on the last 3 or so threads, then tightened them down. I guess I'l...

Last one- figured it out

Don't feel bad about my little piece of life. I have a life and I'm very interested in self preservation with a dollop of work ethic, pets, k.i.s.s., family, and music.
