Re: Amp for 3012LF
Reading on the peavey forums apparently when driving into DDT isnt really clipping, yet it allows you to know that your near limit per say like a soft limiter am I correct. Just a bit of research I did during school.Gregory East wrote:I'd guess the new DDT system is just as good as the old one then.

Re: Amp for 3012LF
Figure on a clipping amp delivering double the rated power for a brief period. See how that sounds if you dare. I wouldn't. and last time you were talking about them being bridged. Pick up pieces of lowrider after that! It sounded fine without bridgeing But who knows maybe these digital amps can gi...

Re: Amp for 3012LF
The IPR 3000 is 440 watts @ 8 ohms? how is that too much power?Gregory East wrote:Clipping in the amp you mean? That'll be way too much power for the lowriders. Even if it isn't it would sound lousy.
Square waves of themselves are harmless.

Thank lets see of he will help me out.Gregory East wrote:Anyone with a few tools and the inclination to follow plans and instructions can build one. Thanks to make a BFM cab , is a carpenter "my uncle " able to build one?Gregory East wrote:http://forums.peavey.com/viewforum.php?f=27 these guys know all about what you're trying to do. Don't blow your lowriders and come crying. I think you're nuts to try poking 1600W RMS at a single cab.
Re: IPR 3000
Please rephrase your question. Ok so I have now two SpeakOn(4 pole just wired on 1+ for positive and 1- for negative.) to 1/4" . How may I bridge the IPR 3000 , I have two Peavey Lowriders That are 8 ohms 1600 watts Program Which is 80v at 4 ohms daisy chained and Im sure the amp puts out roug...

Re: BEHRINGER iNUKE NU3000
I picked up two IPR 3000's for 380 each if thats not good for the price these are real rms wattage.AntonZ wrote:Even after taking possibly inflated specs into account that is still a lot of watts per lbs/kg, and value for money.

Re: PEAVEY IPR 1600
I've been using the 3000's for many months. They do their job very well with no complaints. I bridge two of them @ 4ohm for two pairs of subs. I think they blow away the XTi4000's I was using on the subs before that. How are you bridging? Here are a few pics and videos of my IPR's. www.djforums.com...

Can I use 1/4 and use the banana plugs as wire?LEVLHED wrote:by buying speakon ends
Re: IPR 3000
I suggest you search the Peavey forum for info on how to bridge. You need to modify a speakon cable on the amp end with two plugs, 1 for positive and 1 for negative. Also pass thru the input signal from A to B. It is very specific but not hard to do. I currently run two bridged IPR3000's. They do n...
