I've tried it. I have experience using foam and fiberglass sandwich construction in boats, so I tried it for a speaker. This may have been mentioned but I didn't find it. Has anybody tried foam, fiberglass screen, and gripper paint construction? Or is this just a completely ridiculous idea? Apparently people are making cabinets out of the stuff for their camper vans.
