Re: 4 Point Club System

Been thinking about this. The OP has made post 2 and 3 in this thread. We have no idea of the OP's history with PA, BFM, anything really, and we're offering all sorts of advice. None of us (including me) have asked about what limiters are running, crossover points and all the other stuff usually spr...

Re: 4 Point Club System

T39's won't dig deep enough for modern DJ's doing EDM etc. As CO said, tuba's are required Not if the competition has nothing better to offer. If you called the first 10 small to medium local sound companies that showed up in a google search, how many do you suppose have gear that's capable of what...

Re: 4 Point Club System

How big is the room? What would be the separation distance of the subs? What is the client trying to achieve? Is it the client or the venue? Are those 2 different? Is this your break into the business? Is it paying? If it's lucrative enough, it may be worthwhile trying to demonstrate rather than ex...

What are you using for your limiter?
We can collectively help out in no time (I now have both a DCX and a PA2+, so know either...)

Re: Low power spl bass setup in truck

I tinkered a little with the setting today I can low pass at 80hz 24dbslope, and dial it back and get a good crisp tight bass out of it. It’s nice!!! I can do what I said earlier and lowpass at 50hz 12dbsloped and do some has heavy bass track playback and slam the truck. Just what I think will make...

Re: Recomended 8" for DR200

It would be easier if you had said DR250 lol The beta10, compared to a 2510 in the DR250, is around 5dB less output wise in the mids. I would be inclined to draw a parallel, and suggest the beta8 is a reasonably significant amount of output lower in the mids than the delta pro 8a. I'm sure Bill will...

Re: Hello from California

Hi, and welcome :) The home theatre, and auto, designs, rely on cabin gain to make them work. So, using either outdoors where there is no cabin gain is asking for failure from the outset IMHO. Don't use either the truck tuba, or the SLA centre! Regular SLA I think may do well, perhaps, even, as Bruc...

Re: Djay from France ;)

errr you said 60cm in your first post, and that's pretty much 24" inches.
Is 60cm you max or no?

I would recommend a HT design, but none of those are in the dimensions you require.

If it must be those dimensions, look at a Tuba 24...

Re: Djay from France ;)

Hi, and welcome to the forum :) You would have to create your own vector files from the plans. Are your required dimensions a deal breaker? The nearest HT design from Bill would be the Table Tuba: https://billfitzmaurice.info/TT.html The material used to build all these cabs is 1/2" or 12mm plywood....
