I thought the XLS series had an internal processor for hipass, lopass, and limiter just not EQ? Idk, I guess i got some more research to do.

All the bells and whistles of that amp don't look too useful for small DJ rigs. It does have oodles of power to run a couple of Delta12 subs without clipping but the way I read the sales blurb at Crown you'd need a processor as well. Please explain how you get any more than 35V out of a XLS1500 when it's got a limiter set on it. You don't.....but a 1000 will clip.....the 1500 probably will too in stereo mode, but not as bad. I bought a new xti2000 the other day, planned to use in on subs. Set limiter at 56 volts - all was fine....

Thanks for responding. Yeah, I was asking if it would be a compatible or recommended setup. I don't mind getting the more powerful XLS 1500, but I just don't want to get it if it's unnecessary. How much headroom would you recommend?
