Re: Whats better than 2 Tuba 60's???

Tuba 60's are KING :) I brought my dual out for a New Years Eve Party. In a public park at the beach, overlooking the lagoon to take in the view of the fireworks at night. Hired out a Honda 6.5 Inverter Generator. Best New Years Ever. Bloody big and awkward cabinets but just too good to be without. ...

Re: Something Different

Thanks for all of your responses guys. I do have the T24 plans. . . .Somewhere. I'll hunt them down. Space is a premium 'governing' factor regarding the prospective build. From memory, T'24' has 610 x 610mm depth and height yeah? Re; Not liking Hi-Fi to mix on. Predominantly I don't like that they c...

Something Different

Hi All, it's been a while since I've been on here. Hope everyone is well? Anyway, my opportunities to play out are rare these days. My priorities are on work, and bringing home the $ to get my wife through her Masters Degree. So I'm basically Landscaping 7 days a week (my choice) at least three week...

Gday Harley, Best of luck with your Christchurch pursuits. No doubt the business down there will be making it worth your while, so instead of being sad about your going, I'm going to be happy that you'll be even better equipped for retirement! Thanks for your advice and encouragement over the years....

Re: Nordo's Dual T39 Build

'Carn the Aussies 8) 8) 8) I love the metric vs. imperial banter. One of you had a very valid point, regarding division utilising fractions eg 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 . . . 1/32 etc. It is my understanding that the 'base 10' system was developed to make life easier.... I propose that the Imperial system...

Re: At it again!! Night club number 2 sporting a BFM rig!

This progression onto Club #2 is mind blowing Bob, you've certainly got some kit, a bloody industrious mind and the skills to get results. With your ruthless efficiency and impressive resources put together with Bill's world class designs and knowledge I could envisage BF Loudspeakers becoming the n...

Re: Small world

I guess the internet makes the world in all of its vast glory just seem a bit more accessible to everyone everywhere. I think my nearest BFM Advocate would be BitSmasher - Possibly in the inner west of Sydney 25k's away. There Was a guy from Mosman (10ks) that use to provide sound with T48's to a bo...

Re: T39 Build, Perth Western Australia

Nice looking build I must say. Totally loving the curved brace, however. . . . . 11 1/4 Inches between the Mouth Brace and outside panels is too large. Braces can be a P.I.T.A. royally, but they are imperative for the design to function optimally. Sure your cab will work and probably sound good, yet...

Nice Build mate.

Re: Braces, use three for sure it would be in the plans definitely. They would be around 9 inches centre to centre, don't want to waste any glorious output on flexing the cabs timber :D

Stop when you're tired. Period. It's a good way to get hurt, or make a major mistake. Sound words of Wisdom Leland! +1 Higgz you're powering my man. I too like the full sized top panel. You can never have to many hand holds on a T60 they're are just flat out big and awkward. Enjoy the rest of your ...

Thanks Gents.

It is making more sense now.... Somewhat :P

I understand your point Grant regarding the single circuit and not blowing. Thanks for clearing it up. I'll calculate the specs of everything that I have and post up on it.

Cheers

Re: Generator Guidance...

Yeah true, I'll check out the brochures re 120 or 240 volt. My XTi. is the U.S. model as its switch mode power supply, the inverter however would be an Aussie model, punching 240 volts. Are the numbers I need to chase up 1) Rated; Watts & Amps output of gennie 2) Max; Watts & Amps drawn from...
