Welcome! Thank you! If the TLAH's are a bit big for your current situation (shouldn't be unless your upper corner space is limited) you can even do the SLA's which will do well with HT I was planning to emulate the floorstanding trapezoid-shaped version here: http://www.frappr.com/?a=photo&gid=...

Space is the primary consideration, music is the primary usage.

Right now, HT at my place is kind of a joke. I'm still using a ten-year-old 20" Regular-Def curved screen TV. With rabbit ears.

Baby steps.

Thanks for the eyewitness reports. I will use birch. I may still have to order it, but I sense my chances of getting good wood are better with birch. I'll ask them what recourse I have if I order it and it shows up sub-par.

Hi, I called a local wholesaler and found that most retail lumberyards in the area have accounts with them and can order Okoume and Baltic Birch from them, by the sheet. Okoume is supposedly okay for our purposes, but there have been warnings here about using plywood of Asian manufacture. Most Okoum...
