Re: Plate amp for portable PA

Velcro tape a 12V Lepai amp to the cab. No weight and no complexity. The iPhone will plug right into it and it will be plenty loud.

Re: Can you Bi-Amp with a Lepai

Just use the recommended passive crossover in the cab. No need for biamping for beach duty. Look into a miniDSP to put in front of the Lepai to smooth out the high end and get rid of unneeded low frequencies. Bring an umbrella or something to shade the amp as it will get extremely hot sitting in the...

Re: Aqua Zumba is ON!!!

J10L loaded with the S2010 should be plenty loud and light enough for the wife to do all the moving.

The question of which Jack really depends on how quickly you want the police to show up.

Re: Newbie from Colorado

Id roll with a Jack, depending on how much you want to haul. Power it with a Lepai 2020 and a 12v SLA battery and you'll have hours of music. The J10 should be enough volume, but you can use a J15 for more volume if you need it and it can double as a table. That is if you have enough space to haul i...

Here's a sneak peak of the final product. I need to clean up the garage a bit before doing a full photo shoot.

Re: Which Joint to Lengthen 5 ft Plywood for THTLP Sides?

A 30 degree joint should be fine. I've just used 90 degree butt joints with plenty of PL and things work just fine. I'd imagine a 45 degree joint would be even better.

Re: how to cut the 1/2" x 1/2" x 1" nacelles for dr 250

I cut a 1/2" strip of 1/2" BB and then cut the angles with a back saw and a $5 plastic miter box from Walmart. I still have all my fingers.

I showed her this post and she's flattered.

Edit: I showed my wife the BFM forum. I hope that's not grounds for permanent suspension.

I think it turned out pretty nice. It was the wife's idea to use the green on the inside. I'm really liking it.

Yeah definitely couldn't have done all that without a drill press.

Now I have to get motivated to get out the can of bondo and the sander.

S&PL Charts

Today's S&P 500 performance is starting to look a lot like the SPL plot for a J15. https://www.google.com/finance?chdnp=0&chdd=1&chds=1&chdv=1&chvs=Linear&chdeh=0&chfdeh=0&chdet=1440446400000&chddm=391&chls=IntervalBasedLine&q=INDEXSP:.INX&ntsp=0&e...
