Re: Plate amp for portable PA
Velcro tape a 12V Lepai amp to the cab. No weight and no complexity. The iPhone will plug right into it and it will be plenty loud.

Re: Can you Bi-Amp with a Lepai
Just use the recommended passive crossover in the cab. No need for biamping for beach duty. J10L loaded with the S2010 should be plenty loud and light enough for the wife to do all the moving.

Re: Newbie from Colorado
Id roll with a Jack, depending on how much you want to haul. Power it with a Lepai 2020 and a 12v SLA battery and you'll have hours of music. The J10 should be enough volume, but you can use a J15 for more volume if you need it and it can double as a table. That is if you have enough space to haul i...

Re: Which Joint to Lengthen 5 ft Plywood for THTLP Sides?
A 30 degree joint should be fine. I've just used 90 degree butt joints with plenty of PL and things work just fine. I'd imagine a 45 degree joint would be even better.

I cut a 1/2" strip of 1/2" BB and then cut the angles with a back saw and a $5 plastic miter box from Walmart. I still have all my fingers.

Thanks guys. I had to put the cabinet on hold this week to slap this guy together:
I think it turned out pretty nice. It was the wife's idea to use the green on the inside. I'm really liking it.

Yeah definitely couldn't have done all that without a drill press.
