Noted, thanks! This little box of tricks does a lot of stuff. Took me a while to get my head round it.

Re: Grant Bunter Memorial

I log in for the first time in a good while to get some help on something and I find this terrible news. RIP Grant, thanks for everything you shared over the years.

Re: Setting limiters

Re-reading this thread because my now 12 year old (I think?) DCX finally died so I went out and bought a PA2 as a replacement and I need to set the limiters on it. I think I've got it, just need to do it.

Re: Titan 39 Build

Be thankful, the damn things clog up the roads. What's worse is that today's uberpickups don't have more capacity or space than those of yore, they're just bigger for no good reason. Worse, I'd say half, if not more, are purchased as passenger vehicles, not working trucks. Conspicuous consumption i...

Re: Hello from Coventry, UK

Well I guess you won't be needing to improve the sound at Inspire anymore, it's closing down??

Re: 2 x Tuba 45 build

I saw that hole in the pic too.....after you posted, I went and looked at the plans. Not sure why people want to use the Lab when the 3012LF is so much lighter and the same price... When I bought the Lab12s back in 2011 the 3012s were at least another 50% on top in the UK. Now both are the same mon...

Re: 2 x Tuba 45 build

Probably has two rectangular holes in it. That's used with drivers other than the Lab12....or any driver with FS above 35hz. I can't tell what driver that is, but it doesn't look like a Lab 12. Gotcha, I've never put anything other than a Lab12 in a sub so I wasn't aware of any differences in the p...

Re: 2 x Tuba 45 build

A question because I'm not sure if I'm seeing things right but in the last image, the panel marked P5, does it have a rectangular hole in it?

Re: Hello from Coventry, UK

The only place you could possibly attach any sort of treatment is above the heads of everyone which would then detract from you being able to see up into the spire of the place... There's already some artworks been placed up there and that's also where the speakers are. I just don't see it happening...

Re: Hello from Coventry, UK

The problem you have with Inspire is it's a tiny stone block building, a listed one at that. So you have the issue of stone reflecting sound and the fact you can't legally poke holes in the building itself to improve the acoustics. Outside you improve simply by having decent speakers ran through dec...

Re: Hello from Coventry, UK

It's fair to say the sound there has been awful for many many years to the point where I've been known to just unplug ones side of the outside speakers for some form of peace. Indoors is just a perfect example of how not to install speakers. 4 high up on the walls facing each other, shrill as all f*...

Re: What program is it that indicates content frequency range

You might want to try Resonic which I found a good while back... I found this mere moments ago and wow is it ever good. Previously you'd have to go into Audacity or another program to find out where the bass content of your tracks lies and it'd only let you analyse 15 seconds at a time. Resonic is a...

Re: BFM Hit List...

My tastes run wide so my recommendations are all over the place. Drum and bass: Noisia - ANYTHING off the Outer Edges album. The guys have a real knack for producing silly, silly enormous sounding tracks but not just filling your earholes with sludge. Favourite tracks personally being Tentacles, Man...
