I think you are in the ballpark. They will get extremely loud on just 50 watts. I usually run mine on a plx 3002 (because I had prior) which is about 500 watts per channel and I never see the second led lit (gain usually set about halfway or less on the amp). Most of us just do the exterior edges, some do the mouth opening edges as well. Oh and the handle cutout holes.

Sad part is, there are idiots who believe this #*^$.

All of the cabs are passive.

Some people have made them active by adding small amplifiers to the cabs, but most of us run them as passive cabs.
