Re: What's to chat about?

Hahaha... yeah, about those glow plugs. It's back on a momentary button now, but for a time they were activated by connecting two wires with spade connectors. One morning I woke up to dead batteries. Hmm. Wonder what happened... instant palm to forehead as it struck me in the same moment. I forgot ...

That's WAY more sound than a couple of 12s has any right to make. Mother of God. I hope the neighbors weren't too pissed ...

You are on the shortlist for my next trip Tom. It is not going to be soon though, life is a bit busy for such a long trip.

Re: News Flash! Canadian comes to Texas and survives!

Well done. Several years ago I had intended to visit Ken on my next trip to Canada, right across the border from Tom. I would have got to meet both. The Canada trip happened but my schedule quickly filled up so I did not get around to it. Then Ken passed away. A lesson learned the hard way: don't po...

Re: What's to chat about?

Quite a looker indeed. The shape makes me think she is not young (but neither fat nor ugly, so not exactly fitting Bruce's line of thinking :cowboy: ). She has the elegant lines of a classic yacht. Age is not necessarily a problem if she is well looked after and updated. Also, some things were built...

Yeah, utter BS indeed. I would have old, fat and ugly ladies going after me all the time :fruit:

Re: TLAH or SLA PRO for a church

If we end up going with the SLA Pro, what subwoofer would you recommend? If you need subs then Titan 39 seems a good choice for just about any type of church. Both in terms of bang for buck as well as results for a given size. My bet is one or two should get you a long way, unless your congregation...

Re: Links to everything you need for your BFD-build, in Europe.

Bison and Pattex have expanding PU glues that work well but I seem to remember they were not exactly cheap. I have used an expanding polyurethane glue from Soudal. Years ago it was readily available for me in continental Europe. It was cheap and worked very well. My Autotuba, T18, Omni's and SLA's h...

Wow, 54ft! That is way way way larger than anything I have sailed in my life
I have looked at some random interior pics of 54ft sailing vessels, all quite spacious indeed. You mean serious business Seth. Looking forward to see Elsie when she gets there.

Re: to all my math nerd friends...

Yep, I called my math major daughter and wished here a Happy Pi Day Friday. She knew exactly what I was talking about. Funny! My daughter had a math teacher in highschool who used to bring pi cookies for her classes on Pi Day. We just talked about that yesterday. Happy pi+1 day to all math nerds!
