Re: Powered Simplex Tilt Back
This really makes sense! You have the dsp in it, which is really a must for this cab! Great!

Re: Simplexx 212 build w/ Pics
You had a picture with the finished crossover, looked very clean, you could put it back, as a good example!

"I just realised i can use the standard rubber feets as spacers for my metal grill which will be 1/2" spacing between each holes. Anyone doing this? loll"
Yes, I did this on mine! It works perfectly. Many manufacturers use it!

Re: Simplexx 110 Build
Glad you got it sorted. This is the modeled low frequency response of the BP102 in red, the Kappa Pro LF in green, both in the ported S10. https://billfitzmaurice.info/images/SPL/Simplexx/BP102 Kappa Pro LF.jpg The BP102 has higher sensitivity in the midbass. The Kappa Pro can go louder due to more...

Re: Simplexx 110 Build
Yes, good news indeed ...before doing bigger investments...
I'd also try the amp sims, and compressor, or limiter of course!

Re: Simplexx 110 Build
Hello everyone at the high-pass filter club!
Zoom B3n has received in the 2017 may-june update a "Low Eq" effect, which is a high pass filter. You should play with that! (Also could try the bass amp sims, if they are there. )

Re: Simplexx 212
Update: I did sound production for a music festival on Sunday, and had my Simplexx 212 cabinet in the backline. Because I had a friend mixing at FOH, I was running the stage. Pretty much every bassist that came on stage asked me about the cabinet after they plugged in and played a few notes, like&q...

Re: FRFR a'la Flat Response Full Range cabs
I've used modelling amps/cabs/direct/guitars for over a decade. Everything goes through the PA through a pedal board and back to me via the monitor. The monitor is autoeq'ed flat, along with the PA once it has been situated in position for the gig. I even mark tape around the monitor it in case som...

Re: FRFR a'la Flat Response Full Range cabs
Now I better understand where you were going with your original post - a guitar player can just pick up any powered PA cab with a 12 and a horn....get your settings there and you'll be pretty close with any PA. However, bass just doesn't work that way - unless you are going to test your rig with a ...
