Thanks. I guess when the cable's plugged in I don't need to worry about it and i can seal the other one up with and ear plug.

Re: Input Jack Wiring
Make eight pigtails all about 6 inches(12mm) in length. Strip and tin each end. Attach an end of the pigtail to a Speakon or jack post. Do the same for the other seven. Now, all the +1 and the centre post of the jacks, get soldered together at the other ends of those pigtails. All the -1 and outsid...

Input Jack Wiring
Anyone got any good photos or drawings of the wiring for an input jack with two quarter inch and two speakon inputs? I'm building a Jack 212 and went with that option for the Jack plate, but I'm just unsure about how to wire that up.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What is the standard for attaching speaker to spacer rin
The attachment method depends on the cab configuration. If there's a spacer ring plus baffle the total 1" thickness will hold screws. A 1/2" baffle alone is insufficient for screws, so there blind nuts must be used. Hi there. I'm getting to the point soon where I'm going to be attaching m...

Re: ABM 500 RC EVO III Head - Opinions?
Nice, thanks. And yeah that helps. It confirms the general consensus of what I've been hearing and reading - that their stuff sounds good. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be ordering this bad boy soon to play through my Jack 212.

ABM 500 RC EVO III Head - Opinions?
Hey Guys, So I've finally gotten to the point where I'm gluing and fastening stuff together with my Jack 212. I'll get the build thread started this week. In the meantime I just wanted to see if anyone here has any opinions about the ABM 500 RC EVO III Head. I've read some positive reviews and it so...

Oh, man. I'm living and working in Saudi Arabia right now, but before I moved out here, I was living in San Marcos. My folks are right over in Spring Branch. If I was back home I'd've come out and added to the appreciation for you guys. Nice set up, man. And beautiful day. I miss driving down the B...

Re: Jack 210 bass cab
Oh, and yeah, NoGraveConcern's Jack was totally the inspiration for me throwing in the wheels and handle. I'm going to use the 90 degree handle like his.

Re: Jack 210 bass cab
The tilt back caster idea came from "NoGraveConcern" on Talkbass http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/jack-212-build-670856/ He recommended not using the casters he used but recommended using these http://www.reliablehardware.com/cornercastertilt.aspx as they are easier to seal and make air ...

Re: Jack 15 bass cab
no flapping or vibration at all that I could see or hear. I did it just like in the plans, and it worked great. This is the first cab I haven't put a full grill on, and I'm finding I really like this look. I was most worried about the handles vibrating, but I didn't notice anything from them either...

Re: Jack 210 bass cab
Wow, man, awesome build. I'm working on a Jack 212. I'm going to throw the wheels on the bottom like you did. Can you show some photos of how you have it wired up inside? I'm throwing 8 piezos in mine, so I'm thinking that your wiring will be similar to how mine should end up looking. I'm just nervo...

Re: Jack 15 bass cab
Do you get any rattle or a flapping noise of any sort from the pet screen on the baffle like that?
