Behringer EP2000 - One Channel Stopped Working
Hello, I have been using a behringer EP2000 to power two 4 ohm subwoofers for a few years but ran in to a problem at our last gig. The right channel is dead, Neither the XLR or 1/4" input works. The signal LED on the front does not light up at all. Just wondering if anyone has any experience wi...

Re: Questions about DBX Driverack PA+
ktokto, I use a DRPA+ for 2 OT12's and 2 T30 subs. Like Drey said the factory presets are not worth much. You will do a custom setup (again like Drey said see the DBX forum) they are a wealth of knowledge. Make sure you do the reading at the "start here" section. The only down side to the...

Questions about DBX Driverack PA+
I am thinking about movning to a dbx driverack PA+ to replace my current manual setup. I am still in the research and learning phase but have a couple questions. I see the DBX wizards have tunings for commercial speakers, subs, and amps. However, the only piece of equipment I am using that is in the...

Re: Endangered Orange Band sporting OT15 and Titan48
Yeah, we were laughing about that too. The original video was 1080p 120hz before it was compressed for youtube. That anomoly was REALLY apparent on a 120HZ LED TV. It looked like we were green screened in. Haha.

Re: Using TrueRTA to tune Omnitop 15
A quick question. How many db should I play my pink noise over the PA at when I am measuring with the RTA?
I ran somewhere in the upper 70s last time. Just wondering what the correct level is.
thanks

Re: Using TrueRTA to tune Omnitop 15
Thanks again for the assistance. I used trueRTA for the first time at our show Saturday. The difference in sound was amazing. Here are a couple video clips. I posted this on another post but I figure I would do it again for those following this thread. I might sound a little distant on the chorus of...

Endangered Orange Band sporting OT15 and Titan48

Re: Live Sound - Vocals are buried and unintelligible
Here are a couple video clips of us playing. Same video camera on both videos. The first video is with RTA and the 2nd is without. Amazing difference. I might sound a little distant on the chorus of Uprising but thats because I use some thick reverb and delay to cover up if my voice cracks. With RTA...

Re: Live Sound - Vocals are buried and unintelligible
I am using a SM58 for the vocals and a behringer 8500 to milk the guitar. Another quick question. I see another option in TrueRTA to "Open House Curve" and "Use Inverse House Curve" and the program comes with 2 files, one for small room and one for large room. I am unsure what th...

Re: Using TrueRTA to tune Omnitop 15
Good to hear I was on the right track.
One last question about mic placement.where is the best place to take the measurement at the gig? I am assuming on a mic stand back by the mixer board in the back of the room. Is this a correct assumption?

Using TrueRTA to tune Omnitop 15
Hello, I recently purchased the 1/3rd octave trueRTA to flatten the response on our bands PA system. (omnitop 15 and titan 48, behringer 31 band eq) I am a complete rookie here and am looking for some help to ensure I am using the software properly. This is what I did last night, please let me know ...

Re: Live Sound - Vocals are buried and unintelligible
I purchaced the 1/3 octave version of TrueRTA and a Behringer ecm8000. I ran some pink noise through the omnitops and adjusted the EQ accordingly to what I was seeing in true RTA. It was a quick test but everything sounded very nice even for the basement. I need to do a little more research on how t...
