Re: C-lo's Twin Tuba Build
And just checked my version of the web brocure with the current one available for D/L on Berry's site... & yes... they have removed the RMS figures.... WHY??? :? They are still respectable figures!! :wall: :wall: :wall: ...because they're still claiming 1000w @ 4ohm bridged and it obviously fal...

Re: Otop 12 - Delta Pro 12a vs 2512
Yes, for straight up comparison of the Otop12 I do prefer the 2512, lighter as well.

Otop 12 - Delta Pro 12a vs 2512
Did a little comparison video (Delta Pro on RIGHT, 2512 on LEFT) Its a subtle difference but there is definitely a different sound to both. The Delta Pro sounds more nasally, and the vocals are set back in the speaker vs the 2512 has a more up front presence and smoother vocals. The trade off is a b...

Re: will any rta mic work with drpa
I used my behringer ECM 8000 on my PA+ with good results. As mentioned the majority of the cheap measurement mics are reasonably flat that you can get a good base line with them, but wouldn't use them for critical applications.

Re: My Otop 112 Build (pictures)
Whatever happened with your OTops, Subz? Did you seal the holes? I just started my build and have screwed up already, myself. (see my build thread for details). One interesting note: In the pic above this post, right where your four bolts are that hold your bottom-mount top hat, is where I plan on ...

Re: Questions about DBX Driverack PA+
Another thing, maybe regarding only the DRPA series, but the normal sequence to set the gain structure as listed on the DBX forum, allows for a final position of the gain pot on the amp itself. On the contrary, over on the harmony central forum I have read a few people say to run the amps gain full ...

Re: Questions about DBX Driverack PA+
Yes I was talking about that Thanks!
As far as setting limiters on the tops, I have read 1khz is the standard, but wouldn't using a lower freq thats just above the HP crossover for the tops be a better idea since more power would be used at the lower freq than the 1khz?

Re: Questions about DBX Driverack PA+
Sorry to bump an old thread but curious on the "use a sine wave" for setting gains opposed to pink noise as stated in the start here.
I see 2 sides to the story, anymore info?

Re: Witnessed my first really bad wedding DJ last night
Any DJ worth his salt would surely practice "no more gaps" Beatmixing, or even "slam transitions" are one way to do it. In a club environment...the music should be "continuous"...or there should be an announcement going - no "dead air." But "gaps".....
