I play outdoor festivals with dub. I need all the 80 hz i can get to fill in the texture of the music. I have plenty of pack space and amplification. Plus i like it loud!

with the 3012HO I'd consider using CD's on the diffraction horn. They'll keep up better. +1, but only for the upper cabs. OTOH if 2512 loaded piezos in both would be fine. As far as dispersion goes it's not an issue, the DR280 woofer horn is fine to 2kHz. As far as power goes if using the 3012, whi...

i dont want to be unique, i want better results. How do you know its not better if you have never tried it or even heard of it? i'm a perfectionist, soo if theres something better i'm using it.

Well i think its a good idea, its the same price as duratex plus vibration dampening. Does nobody else see ANY advantages to this? Anyway, i got my 1/2" BB today and laid out the first side, i'll cut all my parts tmw! Woot!

And by tight i meant no vibrations, all acoustic energy comes in the form of sound instead of being absorbed by the wood as vibrations. Just a lil extra precaution as i know the pressures of the t60 must me immense!

Going to get wood today. I'm using 9 ply 1/2" bb for all parts. I will take pictures and start a build thread if anyone is interesed. :) and instead of duratex i'm going to use cascade vibration dampening spray. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=268-256f duratex. Hoping it...
