Verdict of the T48
Well I took the leap and sold my two 18s Qsc to finance the T48s project. Prior to this I have never heard any of BFM subs. I read the forum and bought a few plans then decided to go with the T48. At first I was very skeptical about the way the cabs sounded until I set 'em up in the back yard; I mus...

Getting a bit off topic for a sec. I see Bill has updates for Titans and Tubas, I wonder if there's any comparison posted with the old vs new already

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
Thanks guys. Well, I don't wanna drink the kool-aid just yet because I live in North Jersey and it snows practically every other day so I haven't had a chance to demo the T48s in open air yet. As for the gig, I didn't need to corner or wall load the T48s as they were pretty loud and evenly distribut...

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
If I remove the reducer panel section in the driver chamber how should I set the HPF for lower frequency? Unchanged. The reducer panel does not change the low frequency corner. I saw this on AudiRoundTable.com Re: Fitzmaurice Titan 48 [ ProSpeakers Forum ] [ Help ] Posted by lelandcrooks [ 69.148.1...

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
So the T48 connected to the xti and xti to the mixer with a separate volume control.. How can I EQ the subs flat using the DSP on the amp???
My tops are powered and are control by the main mix output.

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
Thanks guys. Well, I have a gig this weekend and i'll be corner loading and V coupling them to get that infamous chest thumping bass. I will also EQ the cabs flat. After the gig I'll replace the xti 2000 with a 4000 to gain some headroom and hopefully better sounds. Listing to subs (especially these...

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
I hooked up my xti 2000 which I will be using for the T48 and low passed at 100Hz and high passed at 40Hz. The xti 2000 puts out about 48 volts before the clipping light starts to blink. I V coupled the cabs by putting a 4'x8' plywood over them and place the tops on the plywood to eliminate any vibr...

Re: Judgement day Titan 48
I load the 3015lf in the cab did a leak check and everything was okay. I then played some recorded songs for a few hours. The cabs are pretty loud but a bit boomy compare to my pair of QSC hpr181i. Maybe it'll get better over time but for now I am impress.
