Re: 4 t30s w/3012LF

Yes I put two braces in a 24" and as for building T60's I still prefer my T30's

If any one in the uk wants two 20" T60's let me know, then I can build some more T30's :D

Re: Tuba 60 Downunder

I have a pair of T60,s and 2 DR280,s in my play barn.

The 4 DR280,s were built for a party that didn,t happen so I need a good reason for more T60,s :fingers:

Any body got any ideas?

Re: New Build - T30s and then Otops to follow

Good build but that ply is nasty, I would get birch next time. It may cost more but it very little in the great effort put in to building these cabs. I would also look at DR,s for tops. I started with 4 T30,s and 2 DR280,the sound was awsome and you could run the lot of two aa batterys and fill a st...

Re: Testing a DR250 and 4 Subs during high school lunch!

Bills cabs with 10's out run a lot off 18's and I know I've had both.
I'd go for a 10 any day far less mass to flap about.

Great place. My nearest house is 1mile but I live in Lincs England so we get the wind and rain Booooooo!
Only built 1 T39 for a mate no driver so never heard the end result, shame, but my T60's are great! and the T30' are better.

Re: Piano finish

Hi in the UK we have piano lacuer a 2k product, first spray with black base coat then laquer on top, then wet flat with wet and dry paper on a block untill you get down to 2000 grit then polish with auto cutting compound. Comes up like glass.

Re: How about a design for a boombox?

Hi I'm just building a J10 Lite to use as a boombox and was looking for a amp. Any body got any ideas for a 100 to 250w into 8ohms with tone controls. Not looking for 12v just 240v will do and available in the UK.

Sorry I did only mean the woodwork bit and I do have a well stocked shop. Handles, corners, painting, etc just runs away with time.
