Re: Presonus Mixer
the StudioLive 32 is pretty nice....
I like the Behringer X32 better, because it has a stagebox. A friend of mine use it for their band, supposedly with MIDAS preamps....and the IPAD interface is great.

if you use the spray adhesive, spray on both surfaces..the wood and the foam, and let it sit for a bit before applying the foam onto the wood.

Re: DIY stage
I built a stage a while back for a concert, six 4'x8' platforms with 3/4" ply wood; the bottom was well supported with 2x4 evenly space out with cross pattern like trusses. it was quite heavy and sturdy. Each platform was bolted together at the venue. it might be cheaper if you just rent one, i...

Re: Getting PL off hands?
Use automotive hand wash that has sand on it, it all come off easily. I never wear gloves, and that's what I used. Just wash your hand before the PL dried up.

Re: SAC (Software Audio Console)
It sucks that some of the large proprietary companies uses Linux as the platform for the engine of their digital mixers, but they don't contribute back to the community. They all want to protect their intellectual property. I'm a big fan of Mac OSX for everything design and graphics, Adobe stuff run...

Re: Pros and Cons of Software and Hardware limiter for speak
From what i read SAC is for advance users who knows thier stuff, while entry level hardware based is for basic and simple use. SAC is a live digial audio console. If you're a DJ then it may not be for you, but you're using Bill's speakers for live sound, mixing bands, then SAC will do everything yo...
